We had dinner here and it was definitely our nicest meal in Marrakech. We weren’t too keen on the bar area - not our scene and nowhere near enough Instagram followers - but the restaurant had a lovely chilled vibe and the food was delicious. Our most expensive meal, but our holiday treat. Lovely.

Yet another fabulous stay, I feel like one of the family. Great service and food, fabulous location and superb vibes yet very relaxed and friendly. Each room is unique and the communal areas are stunning, including the rooftop pool, bar and seating. Ate dinner there twice during our stay which happened to be our birthdays. My happy place!

Nothing is fenn(beauty) about this place! Our dinner at this hotel El Fenn in Marrakech was a total disaster. Let me start with the staff - they were downright rude and seemed completely disinterested in us being there. It felt like we were disturbing them by simply being there. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like a burden, rather than valued guests. And then the food, what a disappointment! Not only was it tasteless and poorly prepared, but also ridiculously expensive for the meager portions we received. It seemed they had jacked up the prices to hide the poor quality of the food. I've had better meals at a highway rest stop before. Honestly, I can't recommend this riad to my worst enemy. If you are looking for a place to dine in Marrakech, please look elsewhere(for example plus 61). Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else.

Excellent food. I needed a special diet and they went well beyond the call of duty. I ate in the courtyard bit at the rooftop. Same chef but actually downstairs is peaceful and has a beautiful up and you don’t need to reserve. It’s a trendy place lines are long even to have a drink but definitely eat here if your in Marrakesh.

El Fenn Is a beautiful Riad with magical courtyards, fluffy fat cats lazing on velvet chairs, enthusiastic little turtles feeding on lettuce leaves in the day, and obediently sleeping in a group of 6, at sunset. The huge doors open into a mysterious magical space, cool and dark, an elegantly attired attendant mans the giant doors at all times. The rooms are delightfully decorated in earthy tones, super comfortable beds, fine linen. Each room is unique with its own ambience and character. All of them are lovely. We found one that resonated with us and settled in for a six day stay. The head concierge Belaid, is bright eyed and very organised. Exceptional service. He was on hand to attend to all our needs. The team is on top of suggestions and reservations for restaurants, spas, and tours. Yassine and Ayoub were fantastic with concierge services too. Ask for it and it shall be done. Mimi was very adorable and very efficient at all that we asked. Wafa is a smiling member of the housekeeping staff who collects your laundry and brings it back freshly ironed. Atif in the black and white tiled breakfast courtyard deserves a special mention for wonderful service and attitude. Chef Hassan learned to make masala chai just like we make at home and it was poured out with a flourish from a silver teapot. The rooftop bar is very special with Uber cool cocktails served with panaché. We enjoyed their in house spa and hamam. The location is simply unbeatable, El Fenn sits just within the ramparts of the walled Medina making it easily accessible. Tapers are lit and lanterns are gently glowing with soft flames as soon as it is dark. All the courtyards are very peaceful. Lie on magenta cushions in the middle courtyard, lounge and read a book on the giant deep gold divan in the first courtyard, sip your coffees and drinks in the third courtyard which also has a pool. If you’re going to Marrakech, El Fenn is a must.

The expansion of this Riad is simply down to their successful recipe for style, service, quality and atmosphere. The rooftop offers a great 'vibe' for visitors and guests alike with great views, fantastic food and drinks whilst guests have the privacy of the rest of the beautifully decorated Riad to themselves, for comfort and relaxation. The location is perfect and the service and hospitality is outstanding. Will always have a special place in our hearts and a huge thank you to Abdel in particular, for looking after us. We can't wait to go back!

We had a lovely time at the El Fenn. We spent a few days in this lovely and super-located Riad where attention to detail in extraordinary (don‘t miss to go to their boutique). We loved the atmosphere, the rooms, the food and particularly the rooftop bar, where we spent so many relaxing moments. A special thanks goes to Jimmy, who looked after us like no other - thanks again Jimmy, you made our stay even more special.

We came to El Fenn for a couple of drinks and ended up staying all day / all evening. Jimmy’s service was exceptional. The best we’ve ever had. The spicy margaritas were wonderful and the rooftop is the best in Marrakech! The decor is amazing and the sunnnnnn!
