The Bay Horse, Masham

A lovely welcoming stay with staff who were very helpful. The room was comfortable and had everything you needed, with top up tea coffee and milk readily available. The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, but the shower was spacious. The stairs up to our room, Yore, were quite steep and for a less able person would be difficult to manage. The food was good, we had dinner and breakfast, both were good and served piping hot. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Amazing food! Me and my husband love to come here whenever we both get a free evening to eat out , Iv had the lasagna many times which is amazing ! Friendly staff who can’t do enough for you , log fires , dog friendly and beautiful rose wines ! 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a gem of a place. Right in the heart of this lovely Yorkshire village, the Bay Horse offers fabulous hospitality, an excellent breakfast and a room which was amazing right at the front of the property overlooking the village square. The room was huge with a sofa placed just near the window, a huge comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. Shower was great too! Very clean and welcoming. Loved the breakfast room! We will definitely be back 😊

Thank you for a great stay, my supper was delicious, served with good quality wine and the atmosphere in the dining area of the bar was convivial, warm and friendly. My room was absolutely delightful, a very comfortable bed, great bathroom facilities, a desk to work at was on this occasion an added bonus to my really cosy room. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, all staff were engaging an friendly and I would highly recommend a stay here - I for one will be back. Thank you

We had been on a day trip to lightwater valley and stopped here for an evening meal. The gentleman was so welcoming and accommodating, we felt relaxed immediately. The home cooked food was delicious, would definitely recommend!! Thank you 😊

Warm welcome, lovely room, cosy bar with a log fire and excellent food. The Bay Horse was such good value, room only with lovely touches of yoghurt, fruit juice tea and coffee for morning. Look forward to staying here again, can’t say better than that.

Very cosy, well appointed and great staff. Stayed here for one night and the staff very helpful. Rooms very comfy, quiet, with TV and tea and coffee. Ate here and food also very nice. Will definitely be coming back next year.

Well what can I say! From being able to book a last minute room at this lovely centrally located inn at Masham's busiest weekend of the year, to the warm welcome from Ann, the cosy room, very comfy bed, good shower, great atmosphere and delicious food, (home made lasagne, veg curry and apple crumble) we enjoyed every minute of our 2 night stay at the Bay Horse. Even watching the general exodus from the wonderful Sheep Fair in the nearby market square on Sunday evening from our bedroom window. Lovely spacious room, excellent tea/coffee making facilities in the room, & smart TV. We can't think of anything that would have made our stay more enjoyable. Thank you so much Ann & Rob for making us so welcome, and should we visit your part of the country again, we will certainly pay you a return visit.

Stayed for 1 night in the yore room, greeted by Ann who showed us to our room , beautiful big room with a sofa and the comfiest big bed I've slept in apart from my own. We had an evening meal I had the bay burger and my husband had the steak pie, both were excellent, as was the breakfast the following morning. Would definitely come back to this hotel on our next visit to Masham 😁
