Notsu Ryokan

The trip came to Matsuyama City in Shimane Prefecture, Japan. I came here because of a temporary change in schedule due to a typhoon. So this accommodation was also booked temporarily. It is a 10-minute walk from the station. The hotel has its own hot spring and includes Japanese breakfast. The room and facilities are still OK. I was a little unhappy that I booked a room. When we checked in, we saw that our couple had two children. So they insisted that we wouldn't be allowed to move in unless we got another room. There is no other way, it is late, so I can only pay the money obediently. Two rooms total 3,000 RMB… It is true that some hotels in Japan charge per person. But the feeling at the scene was that it was unhappy. The manager who was wearing glasses and a tie was greeted at the front desk. It feels somewhat contemptuous, so I'll give it a neutral rating.

The hot spring is very good and the scenery is good, but it is too far from the station

``Nozu Ryokan'' is a hot spring inn near Matsue Station.It's wonderful that it uses the hot spring water from Matsue Shinji Lake near the station.The room was upgraded from the 6 tatami mat I had booked to an 8 tatami Japanese style room. It has been completely renovated and is modern, including the plumbing. However, there is no view from the window. Head to the hot springs right away. In addition to the large public bath, there is a small open-air bath with a nice view of the Ohashi River and the cityscape! Good hot springs near the station. This time it comes with 2 meals. Dinner will be served at the restaurant ``Himekawa'' on the first floor. ``When in doubt, this is it!!Standard Kaiseki plan with plenty of seasonal ingredients from San'in''. First of all, a variety of San'in flavors are served in a bowl made from Izumo soba noodles. You can enjoy a variety of flavors little by little, making it a good accompaniment to alcohol. It's good to have it with a sake tasting comparison. Sashimi, hot pot, and chawanmushi with crab miso. The meal also came with tempura, and I was a little worried because the picture on the website looked like the portion would be small, but it was a satisfying dinner. Breakfast is a small bowl of chikuwa, eggs, sea****, black beans, pickled vegetables, and fruit. a bit lonely. It also comes with miso soup with clams, and the fish is sea bream. It was delicious, but unfortunately the quantity was small.

Although it is far away from Shinjiko Onsen and on the opposite bank of the river, it seems that it draws water from Shinjiko Onsen. Sodium/calcium - sulfate/chloride spring. It was a small, clean, and relaxing inn. The bath faced the road, and if you stood up in the open air, your upper body would be completely visible. It is located along the river that connects Nakaumi and Lake Shinji, and the hot spring town on the other side can be seen in the distance, so it has a nice atmosphere despite being in the middle of the city. As part of Shimane Prefecture's unique initiative, we received a bottle of Japanese sake and a comment as a service to our guests. Mineral water was provided separately in the room. No, I'm grateful, but this is just the beginning of the trip...lol I'll be drinking tomorrow, so it's fine, but what should I do with the rice...lol Shimane Prefecture officials think that tourists come by car. dinner. The white drink is a non-alcoholic clam extract. Oh, I can drink as much as I want with this! LOL The tower in the front seems to be an appetizer platter modeled on wariko soba. When I opened it, it looked like a jewelry box.It looked delicious, but it was actually delicious. Anyway, I'm satisfied with just this. The sashimi has a sharp edge and is very fresh. I guess the ceramic grill is ok. The Nodoguro is truly delicious. It's creamy. There's a lot of blackthroat at the end of the game, so I'm already full. Dessert is matcha zenzai style. Zenzai is from Shimane. Breakfast is relatively simple. But the taste is good. Ceramic plate grilled sea bream and tofu with miso. The food at this inn was really good.
