We absolutely loved this hotel, it was a dream experience and we travel lots! The staff were friendly and helpful, the Superior room we had was pure luxury on the beach, you could hear the waves from your bed. There is a small beach there and you cam swim in the sea, there is a nice pool too. The restaurant was fabulous, we ate there three times including once from our room. All that we ate was absolutely lovely! It’s quite a way out of the main town but there are a couple of places nearby to eat/drink. Bikes and water craft available on site for free.

being on the beach was great, property needs more maintenance done, our sliding door kept going off track and hard to lock, air conditioning blowing on bed was not conducive to sleeping well. staff was friendly and so nice

The room and front desk service was great. The food was not so good, very overhyped and I was disappointed with the flavor. Too much salt yet no specific flavor, wait staff were not very attentive and would side eye you so hard if you don't tip (thought tipping was an American thing, maybe not). The beach is not as nice as the one in Hopkin, go there instead if you want a nice beach. Way too much seaweed and the sea was unfortunately quite murky. Otherwise nice amenities, but def not the best value.

Great place to stay other than the mattress, which is super hard. We were unable to sleep well on it. The pool is really small, but nice. The beach is beautiful and there are always beach chairs available. The bistro was really good and convenient with friendly service. I would go back if they got some foam mattress toppers.

The hotel and bistro were excellent they went above and beyond in all areas. Friendly, clean, and very helpful. The food in the bistro was top notch. The peanut brittle pie was to die for. 10 out of 10 recommend.

this is the second time I have stayed here for a night when on my way to a private island the next day. Clean, cute rooms with amazing views. Friendly & helpful staff. if I need to stay in the area again I will be back

My father, husband and I enjoyed 15 amazing days at Maya Beach Hotel and Bistro. I would HIGHLY recommend it. the facilities were immaculate. The food was awesome we tried almost everything on the menu. Some things we had to have more than twice, just to good not to. The new owners are great people. The staff are amazing. You get to feel like family and they are just the best. Not sure I will have room to share all the amazing adventures the friendly and experienced front desk staff arranged for us. Fishing with Brent, ruins with Robin, snorkeling with Annamarie. Do yourself a favor and GO! Say HI to the staff for us if you do. We miss them already. Really one of the best adventures of my life. Can't wait to go back.

Exceptional staff, over the top cuisine at The Bistro restaurant and close to everything . Offers tours and rentals. Close to Placencia Village action but quiet area for a peaceful time away from the hustle down the road

We loved our time at Dreamsicle Upper. It has everything you need and great views. The staff at MBH were great as was the food at the Bistro. We went snorkeling and fishing on tours that Jessica arranged for us.

From the time we arrived, we were amazed! Welcome drinks help with our luggage, and our room was gorgeous. Flip flop palace 1, so nice and comfortable right on the beach. All staff are so kind and helpful! Food is excellent with great care to provide vegan food. I can't wait to return!

Great place to stay. Watch the sunrise from your bed in the beachfront cabanas. Free use of Kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel gear means you don’t have to go anywhere if you don’t want. Excellent food in the bistro and fair prices at the bistro as well.

THE ROOMS ARE WELL-EQUIPPED AND COMFORTABLE, THE STAFF ARE SUPER RESPONSIVE, AND THE FOOD AT THE BISTRO IS INCREDIBLE!! If you're looking for a fantastic, peaceful beachfront property, Maya Beach Hotel & Bistro is phenomenal! The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, the staff are very polite and responsive and the food....OMG....The Maya Beach Bistro is incredible!!

We had an excellent stay here for a babymoon. The only downside to the hotel was the location, beaches are hard to walk long distances on and it a taxi ride is necessary if you want to go into Placencia and is a bit pricey for the short distance (20 dollars for 8 an 7-8 mile drive). Otherwise, staff was very attentive, responded to our requests very quickly. Rooms had great views of the beach and housekeeping was very attentive. Couples massage that we booked was excellent and great value.

Excellent place to wake up to the sunrise. This was our third time at Maya Beach. The first time was just for lunch the next two times we stayed for two nights. Definitely one of our favorite stops in Belize.
