Nice hotel a long St Kilda’s! Close to the local trams that take you into the city and the beach. Will come back again.

The unit was lovely and spacious, even though it was a bit outdated it was clean and tidy with daily room sevice.
Could do with updating the TVs as they couldnt connect to internet, but wasnt a biggy as we were out and about a lot.
Tram was easy and straight out the front of units with all trams going straight up st kilda rd into the city.
Not too many cafes and restaurants close by but was a an easy tram ride to prahran market or down to st kilda/balaclava.
We parked in the pullman car park around the corner due to having a larger car and the units offered it for $25/night so was grateful for that.
All in all a great spot for our family of 4 and would happily come back.

First room I checked into had the smell of mould, a previous guests pringles lid left on the seat (one can only assume the room was not cleaned and vacuumed), fluff on the ground, a dirty bath mat and the bathroom toiletries was already opened. As the hotel reception was only around till 8pm, I had to make do with the situation and the next morning asked to change room and told them the situation.
I was then moved to a different room where there were 2 single beds instead of the 1. I rang and they sent their team to come up and redo the bed. Very little care was taken in the process
It's cheap and the place is very very average. I wouldn't stay there again, even given the price point as the overall experience did not live up to the 'expectation' of what I was going to get for this priced hotel.
Having said that, it's fair to say that not everyone has these bad experiences with an unclean room. Just don't set your expectations too high and remember that it's a budget friendly stay

Overall this was adequate. The TV was missing the remote, carpets were dirty and the bathroom floors clearly had not been mopped in a long time. I dropped something on the floor by the bathroom sink and saw under the cabinet and regretted it. It was gross. We were disappointed given the positive reviews.
That said, the staff were nice, the area is great and right on the tram line. I have mixed feelings on the place, but in the end it worked out.

Great location, large room that was well fitted out. the bathroom needed a renovation but was large and functional and very clean.Staff very helpful.
right near a tram stop to take you to the city or beach.
Albert park only 1 block away to enjoy

I hated this place. Numerous problems apparent just before 8.00pm, but reception had closed and the afterhours “service” was bith arrogant and non-helpful. A shocking experience necessitating miving to another hotel. If anything goes wrong after 7.00pm here, you are on tour iwn to try and resolve.
