Located on the edge of Merida this is a very tranquil property. Lovely gardens and pools. The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s mostly accessible for those with mobility issues. Beds were a bit too firm for my taste but that’s always hit and miss. Very nice shower and bathroom. Only glitch was our AC wasn’t working well. We didn’t wish to change rooms so lived with it a little too hot for our tastes. There was a power disruption but much to my surprise a backup generator immediately kicked on and we had full power. Decent TV selection. I can’t remember if there were any English language channels or not. The pools are very refreshing and we had drink service there as well. We ate a very good dinner. Prices I thought were quite reasonable. Breakfast was included in the rate. I ordered an omelette which came with fruit, juice, coffee and beans. I believe also pan dulce. The omelette was cooked over an open fire which gave it an incredible Smokey flavor. I would not hesitate to stay again. Also of note: This hotel is 10-15 minutes from the new Tren Maya Merida-Teya station making it a very attractive location. Our taxi was 150 pesos or a little under $10.

Needs to be taken over by a company which will upgrade the property. Too expensive for the experience. Far from downtown. We were almost the only guests.

This hotel is exactly what you’d expect when booking a stay in a Mexican ‘hacienda’. The buildings were old but very well-maintained and they looked beautiful. The garden was really nice and again maintained very well. Although you could see that the hacienda was old, the rooms were very modern (with a card to open instead of an actual key, which is common here in haciendas). Airconditioning was a bit loud but the temperature in the room was fine. Everything was very spacious and the staff was friendly. Pool is great for relaxing, we had it all to ourselves actually. It was amazing to realise that this beautiful hacienda and garden are located in the middle of a big city. If you want to visit Mérida, I’d drive to the city centre (approx 15 min) and leave your car in one of those guarded parking lots. Recommend this hacienda to anyone visiting Mérida, but still looking for a spacious hotel with a nice, relaxed vibe.

We were very disappointed with the hotel having stayed at a lovely Hacienda near Chichn Itza. The room was big but dark. The so called plunge pool was not something anyone would enter. The whole place is in dire need of refurbishment. The food was average only. We were booked by our agent to stay 4 nights but after the first we moved to a little hotel in the centre of Merida which was lovely

Very quiet, beautiful place, despite being inside the city, you can breathe in an environment surrounded by nature, lots of peace, delicious food. Miss Andrea was very kind and attentive at breakfast to make sure everything was fine. I definitely highly recommend the hotel, I had to enjoy it before the end of the year but I am sure that at any time if you want something in and close to the city, this place is ideal.

The hacienda is beautiful, the rooms are very good and the bathroom is super good, just not very clean. The dryer had spiders, the sheets and pillows smelled musty! There is super super little light in the rooms.
Very very bad food! That is, I don't recommend it at all.

Als je echt authentiek wil relaxen kom dan naar hier…. Fantastisch domein met prachtige kamer en badkamer en dit alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Wij genoten hier. De service is ook top. En wil je dan toch uit de rust weg, neem dan de taxi naar Merida centrum.

Wat een mooie historische locatie. Je ziet wel dat er wat onderhoud mag worden gepleegd (lekkage in de kamer na de regen) maar aan de andere kant hoort het wel een beetje bij dit soort oude gebouwen. Het personeel is vriendelijk en doet zijn best om je een leuke tijd te geven zonder dat het over de top is. Ze zijn warm en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn enorm, een beetje aan de donkere kant omdat de weelderige begroeiing de zon tegenhoudt. Een leuke bar aan het zwembad welke voor ons vieren speciaal werd bemand nadat we uit Merida terugkwamen. Eenvoudig met de taxi (uber van en naar het centrum) dus dat het aan de buitenrand van de stad ligt is wat ons betreft geen probleem, eerder een voordeel omdat we met eigen vervoer waren en dit eenvoudig was aan te rijden.
