The rooms were super clean and nice. Pillows were great. Easy check in process for after hours check in. Very communicative after the booking process to make the arrangements. Very friendly staff. Bagels, juice and coffee in the morning was very helpful! But if you want more than that several breakfast places nearby within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Stayed here for two nights, was not impressed with the bed comfort, the gaping crack in the ceiling above one of the beds, and the fit and finish of the room. (The outside door didnt have a frame so they just painted the wall white around it) We booked this hotel because of the cool retro vibe shown on google but in person it was quote weathered. Theres not much in the immediate surroundings besides a taco restaurant, a sketchy corner store and a starbucks. Probably wouldn't return but it was one of the cheaper spots around but in hindsight I should have spent more and enjoyed it

The rooms in the hotel where we stayed for 9 nights were clean, spacious and renovated. The bathroom was very comfortable and clean. Our room was cleaned every day. Although it was not stated that it was breakfast, it consisted of bagel, cream cheese, jam, butter and bananas. It was also enjoyable to have breakfast in a beautiful garden, having a large open area was an element that saved people from being stuck in a hotel room, there were many alternatives to eat and drink within walking distance. Having free parking and free wifi was also preferred. The lack of a dresser in the rooms where personal belongings can be stored and the lack of a laundry facility in the hotel can be a bit troublesome during long stays. We can definitely stay again. thanks everyone

We loved this cute little throw back hotel. It was cute, charming & super clean. FREE parking was a huge bonus & part of the reason I chose this place. Some of the previous reviews complained about road noise, but we were in #213, facing the street, & unless some kucklehead modified his car & went speeding by or was on a loud motorcycle, we barely noticed. The fridge was just the right size & the bed was a little firm for my liking, but comfy enough. The only thing I didn't like was the $25 charge for early check in of about an hour & 15 minutes...after a long night of travel & not sleeping the night before, being able to go in early & lay down would have been nice. Oh & I MUST mention the hidden gem...there is a HUGE lounge area hidden behind the main building. The pictures in the listing do NOT do it justice. It was a really lovely place to read & relax while the hubbs was on a business call. We would absolutely stay here again & I have already recommended it to friends!

Very cute and clean room. But someone took my GrubHub order and I was too afraid to go out and get any food. A very noisy area and lots of loud cars and partygoers

We really enjoyed our stay at the New Yorker. Our room was spacious and bright and the grounds had so many lovely places to sit and relax. There were several restaurants and bars in walking distance and the staff was helpful and friendly.

What a gem of a historic hotel! Great price in a great location. The room was clean and comfortable, and updated in every respect.

Property was unique, pool was great, room was clean, staff was welcoming and helpful. I would have appreciated a microwave in room but one was available on property and the fridge did not keep anything cold. Property is right on a main street so traffic noise is a thing but nothing the hotel can do anything about, just a consideration for travelers. Guest noise was very obvious too. I would still recommend. I did enjoy my stay.

Front desk, Jocasta and Koby, were incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Jocasta in particular shared a lot of great tips for dining and activities based on our interests. Koby also checked into a slightly later check out due to unforeseen circumstances. The cleaning staff was also very accommodating. We loved the extensive garden/zen property in the back, which was quite a surprise and the 2 friendly cats! Thank you everyone! We’ll be back!

I had a good time at the property, I was very comfortable and the reviews told the truth.

The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, they have a mini fridge, easy check in. The only thing I would change or improve is the single ply toilet paper.

Lots of noise coming from the traffic on Biscayne Boulevard, other than that I had a very pleasant stay. Some weatherstripping around the main door probably would have helped cut down the noise quite a bit

We needed overnight lodging but chose not stay at the property in arrival. The light weight looking exterior motel doors made the property not look safe. The property appeared to serve as an apartment complex judging by the patio furniture outside the door. I didn’t check in, so I’m unfamiliar with the rooms interior.
