Hilton Garden Inn Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage Reviews

Hotel is very old. We don't have a choice to stay here as this is one of the cheapest during coachella and its proximity to the venue. The good thing about the hotel it's near to restaurants as well The interior and exterior need to be renovated as everything is looks old there was no cleaning during our 2 night stay in here too.

The house is bare, there is no bottled water. The water quality in California is really bad. There is no toothbrush, toothpaste or slippers, but there is soap and shower gel. The window air conditioner is a bit noisy at night. Fortunately, the target supermarket is not far away and you can buy toothpaste. The old hotel has a large space, which is an inherent advantage. There are coffee machines, microwave ovens and refrigerators. Although the bathtub is not big and shallow, the water is surging, which is completely different from the water in China. The key point is the breakfast buffet. There is only one young man in the catering service. He first asked whether you want to order or self-service. I reported the room number and said that he would go to the front desk to verify it. He listened to every word I said with a dark face. The breakfast was very shabby. There were only eggs, bacon, potatoes, watermelon, pineapple, 4 kinds of juice, sliced ​​bread, muffins and donuts. The bacon was burnt, the juice tasted average, and the bread and donuts looked unappetizing. The waiter had a blank expression on his face, and didn't serve you with any intention of making you feel satisfied. As soon as we sat down, he threw a book and asked us to sign the bill for breakfast of 16 plus 1.28 tax, as if someone wanted to use his breakfast for free. Since you want to sign the bill, are you not afraid that the person will run away? Why did you have to verify it at the front desk? This was the first time I felt some malicious service in the United States.

I went there to coincide with the Coachella Music Festival. The price is really too high for the facilities hahahaha It just feels like a local pension...? The swimming pool inside the hotel is nice though.

The policies and the staff communication of them was just awful. It was so ridiculously bad that I ended up filing a corporate complaint. As of now, no effort was made by management to even talk to me, much less apologize or try to make it right. I would certainly never stay at this property again and am on the fence about ever staying at any Hilton in the future.

We were in the room closest to the lobby. Saturday & Sunday mornings were VERY loud starting at 6:15 AM, ruined our weekend

Great location. Comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff. Our original room #257 had a sulphuric odor and a clogged sink. Fortunately after one night we were able to change to #256 and it was much better. Did find a bug in the new room but it’s the desert. Lots of bugs live in the desert.

Service was great. There was a sewage/sulfur smell around the lobby & elevator areas on both floors that was unpleasant. Otherwise, a great stay.

I liked that I convenience of the fitness room, and that there were breakfast and dinner provided here. The staff was also very welcoming and polite. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend this place to friends and family.

Furniture worn and dirty in lobby. Needs renovation all over. Shame on Hilton, charging almost $300 f o r Motl 6 quality. Never ever again will I go there

Not a great experience from the moment I walked in the vibe wasnt great, instead of Hello I was given its gonna be a second, the staff wasn't rude but wasn't great either (in terms of customer service), You walk into the room with a bottle of water thats says something like "We want to say a special thank you to the Diamond, Gold Silver Guest by giving you a free bottle of water...everyone else its $2" The bottle of water perfectly sums up the vibe of this Hotel. AC is not very cold, I went to go take a shower in the morning and the handle broke off and the lady at the front desk couldnt of cared less, and then when I went back to my room my key didnt work. The breakfast cost $10....a hotel that costs the same amount per night down the street offers free continental breakfast...Not happy with my stay at all.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The front desk & other staff very friendly and were helpful when we had questions about the dining and activities in the area.

The elevator was out of service when we went to leave. Paid for view of pool but could not see unless sitting on the bed by the window. Thought breakfast was included but had to pay $9.99 and up for so so breakfast. Evening clerk at front desk was great and very helpful.

The location was particularly convenient to All of my destinations and the hotel employees were very kind snd helpful.

Easy parking, front desk people very friendly and kind. Room smelled very musty. I went to the front desk to let them know and they immediately put me into a different room which was a little better but I noticed that the sheets were also very musty in the second room. Other than that I did sleep well, with lots of pillows :-)
