The hotel has been transferred and renamed Garden Inn because it was just taken over. It looks new and very clean in every aspect. However, the facilities in the room are not yet complete. It is understandable because it was just taken over. The staff are very welcoming and polite.

Staff was friendly. Bars and restaurants nearby in waking distance. Nice outside area to sit out back and relax. Had a bit of a musty smell, but we were there for one night so we got through.

I was expecting a pretty no frills place to stay for the night while on a long layover at MIA, and this place was certainly that. Room was completely barren except for the bed and a tv, sheets had holes in them. Fine... ok... you get what you pay for. What really upset me was that they state this on their website: "A complementary shutlle (sic) is available to and from the Miami International Airport, the service can be arranged upon arrival to the airport." This was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I tried to contact them prior to my arrival to discuss the details of this, but no one would answer my calls or replied to my email. When I finally did arrive and made my way out of the airport I tried calling them one more time to arrange the transport as the website suggested and this time someone finally answered and told me that they do not actually have a shuttle service at this time. As a result I had to scramble to find transport on my own in a strange airport, strange city, in the middle of the night. Completely dishonest and caused me a lot of anxiety and trouble. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more money and stay ANYWHERE else! Don't give these criminals your money.

I want a refund because my stay was not Comfortable they lied about the amenities they had and no water or ice machines! It wasn’t worth the money I paid

Very bare bones & cheap. Our first night there was no trash bins in the room at all & this was our view. See photo. There hot water was scalding & was all we had. No cold water in the shower in room 132. We reported to desk.

The hotel was very clean and in a perfect location near the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are small, so a bit tight for 4 people, but we were only there to sleep, so not a big deal. Overall very pleased - can't beat it for the price. There is also an adorable little terrace outside that was lovely.

Very bad experience. A total scam. To avoid. We spent the first day in a room whose extremely poorly designed shower (shower head stuck to the wall of the cabin) dispensed either boiling water (on the hot water tap) or hot water ( on the cold water tap). All without pressure on the cold water tap. We asked to change rooms. Same problem but this time, we had no water at all. The maintenance staff were not there that day. The water finally returned after an improbable maintenance operation on the pipes behind the facade of the hotel...The pipes need to be completely redone, the shower towels are towels for the feet, the mattresses/pillows are uncomfortable and the walls are so thin that you can hear all the neighbors' conversations...Only the cleaning service and the friendliness of the reception save this hotel. The price of the room with the current level of service should not exceed 60 USD maximum

From the reviews I read, not as terrible as others. Room was small but served the purpose we needed. Wish the bathroom had more counter space to get ready and bigger towels. Too many layers of paint prevented the bathroom door from closing. Overall was clean. No elevator so had to carry heavy suitcase upstairs, not a big deal but was not aware when booking. Bed was decent.

Stay away , no night stands no draws no bed sheets and many more things ! Choose better then we did

I booked 2 queens, but they said there was no availability. There were two options. Choosing 1 king or going to other hotel at 1:30am. Terrible staff and service.

The bathroom in the king bedroom was tiny. The surrounding area was scary and across the street was a sketchy motel. Constantly cop cars outside by the motel across the street. No ice machine, no elevator, very poor experience. Wouldn't stay here again.
