The hotel is very close to the train station, more than 10 minutes walk, the subway is also very convenient, not far downstairs, opposite the Westin Hotel. The breakfast was plentiful and the service was welcoming. The toiletries were all water from Parma, which was replenished daily and the bathroom was large. Drinking water is delivered to the room at 7 or 8 pm every night. There is Carrefour nearby, and shopping is also convenient. The only drawback is that there is no hot water bottle, but we brought the hot water bottle completely unusable, and the scale felt heavy. The first day was in the morning. I could n’t get the room yet. I wanted to open the box and pick up something. The hotel manager, who opened the office for us with pictures, would keep things from getting messy in front of everyone.

The bath had significant appeal with brass fittings and a funky, unusually shaped, double sinks. The Michelin-starred restaurant is the Casa's highlight attraction with it's menu of traditional Italian specials accompanied by a dash of East Asian influences. I fell for the fish (pan-fried crustaceans).............heavenly. So , if you want a small boutique hotel that aims to be your home away from home..............then try the........... This is my second time at Hotel Tocq, there’s no better recommendation than that. The location is great, near Garibaldi station so not far from the central station either but in a much nicer and safer area. Well connected with metro, tram and suburban train. Walking distance to a lot of nice areas. The breakfast buffet is rich, it has a lot of savoury and sweet options and also caters to vegans and lactose intolerant. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. I would only improve on some things included in the room: -the slippers (there’s always one pair instead of two, but they will give you the other if requested); -there’s no where to put the soap so maybe a hand soap dispenser would be better than the bar soap; - for lingerie stays it could be useful to have somewhere to store the clothes, am armoire or some drawers.

I will choose Vertical Experience Hotel every time I go to Milan! The attitude of the front desk staff is always as welcoming as ever. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite this time. The room has three balconies and exercise equipment for fitness. The bathroom is also super large, which is very suitable for friends to stay when traveling! The location is also great, just a five-minute walk from Chinatown!

We visited the hotel for a weekend in September. The purpose of our visit was to explore Milan and to attend the Monza Grand Prix. The hotel is in a great location, a short taxi ride from the airport and within walking distance to two train stations and the centre of town. Check in and out was really quick and the staff were so frjendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and really nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet was brilliant, lots of variety and high quality food. We also had a drink in the bar one evening and it was a good atmosphere, service and the drinks we ordered were made well. Overall we felt the hotel was excellent for 4 stars and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury without breaking the bank.

The hotel is small and the room is clean, but go to the room type that does not choose the park view, just on the roadside, completely soundproof doors and windows, fortunately there are earplugs, otherwise it is a nightmare. Hotel location is very good, not 15 minutes to reach Napoleon Street, a straight road for 20 minutes is Milan Cathedral.

We both liked this hotel. Italian hotels can be variable and hotel near stations especially so. However the San Guido was fine. We received a friendly welcome from the person on reception and were pleasantly surprised by our room, which was quite spacious, with a separate hall and a large bathroom. The furniture and fittings were charmingly old fashioned. My wife was particularly taken with the light fittings on the landing. A tram line runs in front of the hotel and you could hear the trams rumbling by but it wasn’t loud enough to be disturbing. Breakfast was included and it was fine. We had a problem finding the hotel when walking from the nearby station. Google recommended leaving by a side door and walking through a car park. However, even if we could have found that exit, it didn’t seem a wise route to choose in the dark. We left by the main entrance and it took a while for Siri to figure out our best route to the hotel. The good news is we found a row of nearby restaurants where we later ate dinner.

after reading a few bad reviews about the hotel i was skeptical about it however we found that it is actually very nice and didn't look like the pictures people have put on here. Our room was very spacious, clean and had a comfortable bed; the bathroom was also nice and clean with a good enough shower. the hotel is situated in china town and a bit further out than the main part of Milan so don't be fooled by the hotel name 'city center' because it is not! We didn't mind this though because we had an amazing receptionist inform us that the metro was a five minute walk and so was the nearest tram stop so we used trams the whole time we were there to get into Duomo which was very easy! The receptionist who informed us of this also gave us a map with lots of key places to visit and information about the city which was very helpful to us because we had never visited before (i think her name was francesca). The breakfast was also nice but we thought it had a very random and limited selection. Overall we enjoyed our stay here

The location is very good in Chinatown; the hotel is quite new and has a sense of design. However, the room we stayed in had a strong paint smell. After checkin, we immediately opened the door and window and went out. When we slept, we had to open the door and window because the taste was very pungent, which led to mosquitoes and streets in the middle of the night. The sound is also painty.. In short, the price is still there, I suggest you check the paint smell of the room when you check in.
