Beautiful little village in the mountains. The views are dramatic and magnificent. Lovely service and the best food we had on our trip to Corsica.

This is a little jewel of a hotel hidden in the hills of Corsica. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and the sense of peace is heavenly. The rooms are beautifully decorated, bathrooms well equipped and there are lots of seating areas around the property as well as the pool where you can relax. It is remote for sure but it’s worth the journey.

We stayed one night here and were absolutely satisfied with this place and the room facing two sides of the valley. Maybe only downside was the lack of a refrigerator, but we could store our cheeses in the kitchens fridge. We had a delightful continental breakfast on the terrace.

Évidemment, quand on est originaire de Castagniccia, on est moins impressionné par le lieu que le Gus qui descend de Paris, périphérique en tête, et qui ne sait pas ce qu’est la quiétude de nos vallées reculées, pour ne pas dire l’abandon…. Il n’en reste pas moins que l’endroit est bien arrangé, la chambre occupée grande et très propre. Lui manquai juste un endroit où pendre des vêtements, itou dans la salle de bain ou l’absence de tablette pour poser ses affaires est cassé-pied. Rien à dire au point de vue propreté SAUF le joint silicone de bas de douche, tout noir, et qui part en lambeaux : à changer ! Enfin, un parking serait le bienvenu….

Magnifiques chambres avec vue grandiose sur les villages accrochés aux montagnes, cuisine délicate, piscine sympathique . Accueil chaleureux garanti. 5 jours dont nous reparlerons !

Un véritable havre de paix. La cuisine de Barbara est délicieuse et l’accueil fut très chaleureux. Jean-Claude au petit déjeuner est fantastique et peut vous recommander de vrais trésors aux alentours. C’est vraiment agréable de pouvoir profiter de la piscine au calme !! Le ménage cependant en chambre n’était pas très bien fait et certains oublis…

Die Zimmer sind super gepflegt und sehr groß. Das Frühstück ist wie meistens auf Korsika. Wenig Obst oder Joghurt, beziehungsweise Müsli. Dafür gute Crossaints und viel Marmelade. Das Abendessen ist perfekt. Durch die 3 Gänge wird man sehr satt, das ganze essen ist sehr Korsisch geprägt, eben oft mit zäher Wurst und Rassem Käse. Gut war dass der Wein inklusive war. Der Pool ist sehr schön, wie der Rest der ganzen Anlage ebenfalls. Die Lage ist durchschnittlich gut, man erreicht schnell Piedicroce, den Hauptort. Allerdings alles mit engen Straßen, wie man es aus dem Restlichen Teil der Insel auch schon gewöhnt ist. Alle Menschen im Castellu waren sehr nett sowie hilfsbereit und Hilfsreich, Insgesamt ist alles sehr sehr schön, und die mit die schönste Anlage der Castagnicca. Nur der Preis ist ein Minuspunkt.
