I wanted to take this opportunity to put on record my sincere appreciation to Moeisha, Guest Service Agent at Hotel 39. She provided me with excellent customer service. She answered my many questions and was polite, friendly and efficient. Hotel 39 is the rebranded and renovated Wexford hotel where I’ve stayed many times. Since it’s a new owner, I had many questions and the level of patience Moeisha provided confirmed for me that my decision to stay at Hotel 39 end of June is the right decision. If the rest of the staff is anything like Moeisha then I’m certain I will have an enjoyable time. (I will update my review after my short but sweet stay at the end of June).

The rooms are spacious and clean. The vintage aesthetic were awesome! The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel! They were always friendly! The food is amazing cooked & served with lots of love! Love the charm and the positive energy of this hotel! Excellent vibes!!

I only stayed here for one night, so I'm not sure if that's enough to give a proper review. Hotel 39 is beautiful, in a convenient location on the Hip ***** of Montego Bay, freshly renovated, and the rooms are spacious and modern. I find that the toilet area is very small, so if you're a bigger person, it would be difficult to sit on it, and there was a foul odour coming from the bathroom.

Overall the property is not bad. However checking in on Monday April 22th, I was told the room was is ready to check in. When I arrived upstairs to the room, it was dirty and not cleaned. So they put us in a different room. The property only serves breakfast, nothing else. Yesterday my room was skipped to be cleaned, so I had to go to the front desk to get it cleaned. Also I was in the room with my dude and one of the staff came into the room without knocking or introducing herself. You can still tell that the property is new & getting themselves together. The staff was very friend and very helpful. So not too bad of a stay.

This hotel is newly renovated, in a prime location and is clean. The staff are polite and friendly.
The only issue is the hotel has water and sewer problems. I went for an entire day without taking a shower because there was no running water in the pipes. When your pay $203 per night, you should be able to take a shower. There is also a bad smell coming from the bathroom, which seems to be a sewer issue.

In general it is noticeable that the hotel has been remodeled. I had a good stay, however every day I stayed there they had problems with the water heater and I never had hot water. The rooms are comfortable and were cleaned every day, but the floors were always dirty, I ended up with my socks and feet black from how dirty the floors were.

Hotel39 is centrally located near beaches, restaurants, night life and very near to downtown. The stars of hotel 39 is the staff like maya in house keeping and Donavan from security etc🙏🙏🙏💯
