Toyoko Inn Morioka Ekimae

Very nice place!!! Unbeatable position, the interior in the room is also lovely, very simple but we felt cozy all the time.

Excellent service and very good Breakfast!!! I will strongly recommend this Toyoko in Morioka Ekimae.

The hotel was fantastic! Staff were all very friendly. Check in process was hassle free and easy. Housekeeping even hangs fresh towels and toiletries outside my room as I’ve indicated no cleaning required and that’s really nice of them. Location was marvellous! Located just right opposite the Morioka Shinkansen Station. Use the underpass to get across the streets. Elevators to the underpass is located near the bus station. So do not worry if you have bulky luggage. The room I stayed in is spacious even for 2 pax with big luggage. Water pressure and heater works well. There are plenty of food options in the areas and a McDonald at B1 of the small Mall across the street. Convenient store is just along the main road.

My friend booked the other Toyoko Inn near Morioka Eki and I only found out after trying to check-in. Luckily the two hotels are quite close to each other. The location was great, just a few minute walk from the JR station so I was able to pack my snowboard and walked to the station myself. Breakfast was included. Variety was little but the menu changed everyday. Room was bigger than I thought. I booked a single room but it came with a double bed. I had my snowboard luggage laid out and still quite some space to walk around in the room. The clam broth serving at night time was extraordinary good!

Nice staff and nearby to Morioka station

The hotel is just a short walk across the JR station. To reach the hotel, you need to use the underpass. You can use the B1 lift to enter or exit the underpass so it’s very convenient for those with luggages. The room is small but functional. The only complaint is that the kettle provided cannot be dismantled from the plug. In order to fill water you need to carry the kettle together with the plug. Otherwise, everything is just perfect.

Overall OK but stay 2 days or more in between still would not alow to have luggage storage overnight.

Nice hotel, ideal for visiting the festival in Aomori.

Just right next to the train station, very good location with lots of food places around. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff very helpful and polite. There's coin laundry machines which is convenient. Also there are paid parking spots in case you come by car. The only con i found is that i think the breakfast area is too small for the number of people that can stay at the hotel.
