Had a lovely stay here over Easter weekend while attending a wedding in the area. Carmen and Dave were very welcoming and friendly. They have thought of everything; microwave, fridge, toiletries, takeaway menus the list goes on. Spotlessly clean and a lovely breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here. Thank you for a lovely long weekend

Five stars all round, they had thought of everything you would want for an overnight stay. All areas were spotless and attractively decorated. Great breakfast with a wide choice of hot or cold. Conveniently located in the middle of town with easy parking options. We will be back

This really is a bed & breakfast for anyone wanting comfort, a touch of luxury and attention to your every need. The entire place has been recently renovated to an amazing standard and decorated in the most tasteful way. Unexpected amenities included a kitchenette in the room, nothing seems to have been too much trouble to cater for their guest's needs. Comfortable beds, beautiful bed linen and modern en-suite with fabulous shower. Lovely warm welcome from owner Carmen too. I wouldn't normally stay in a B&B but will certainly stay here again when in the area. Stayed with friends on a golfing trip, but would be especially suited to a romantic weekend away with your partner.

On the 2nd of May 2023 we booked into Castle view b&b at 4pm. We went into the bathroom and was disgusted to find the Condition of towels which were hanging on the rails were covered in what look like bleach all over them. 1 towel was really hard. He took the 3 towels down to reception. Spoke To Carmen. She asked “what’s wrong with them? My husband showed Carmen the towels.she responded by saying “ they must have fallen on the floor on some bleach” she replaced 2 towels, they looked really old & were not the best. why would you put towels on the floor with bleach, then place them on the rails? Then give them to a guest? Why was not the room checked thoroughly before our arrival , ensuring everything was in order? On checking the room further we noticed the carpet was really grubby and stained. The bi- folding door in the bathroom was getting stuck all the time and making horrendous squeaking noises. It made it difficult to enter the bathroom. You had to go in sideways. The toilet roll holder was in a difficult and awkward position. When trying to obtain tissue from the holder, you banged your elbows as it’s in the wrong place. The metal bed side units were a health hazard, when trying to get a glass of water from it you would bang your arm against the metal. The position of the tv was ridiculous. You could not watch it as it was on a side wall and could only watch it at an angle near the window. if you were on the left hand side you could not see it. The toilet seat moved when sat on it. The fridge was clicking every 3 to 4 minutes, all night. Then some one came in at 4 .10 am slammed the door really loudly. We went on that evening to discuss all the issues in person as we were going for a meal. No one was there. On the 3rd of May we went down at 8.30 to discuss all the issues again in person. We rang the bell. Then we noticed a message was left on the door that they were out. We had no signal on the phone therefore, we could not ring them. We went at that time as breakfast was being served between 8am and 9am.. we were shattered having no sleep. We did expect 1 person should be there if there was a problem in the night like we had? We know that they are not there 24 hours a day, but surely some one should be there at least for 1 hour between 8 am and 9 am. If there was a or if have some one to speak to. As we did not wish to spend another night in that room, we had no alternative but to go home.i would not recommend this place. This was the first break we had since before the pandemic and we were really looking forward to it. Castle view had ruined it for us.we only spent. We travelled over 170 miles to be be there, so you can well imagine having no sleep and travelling home again, we are absolutely appalled. We had requested a full refund. This was denied by castle view via ***********.

Lovely B&B in great location for looking round Morpeth. Rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Fantastic choice for breakfast which was cooked to perfection and delicious. Lots of lovely touches like fresh milk in the rooms for tea and coffee, extra toiletries in addition to the lovely shower gel, shampoo etc. Carmen our host was so friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again. Superb value for money too.

Absolutely beautifully presented building in a lovely town. Carmen and Dave have a fine eye for detail, and this is a luxurious B&B , particularly if you take the suite in room 5. It is more expensive than the others, but you immediately see why. Huge comfortable bed, enormous luxury bathroom, and all you could ever need. Breakfast is epic! The hosts could not be better and more friendly. Top class.

We stayed for three nights in the Garden Apartment. This, in reality is a small basement apartment with a yard outside. However, it has been beautifully designed, with the light maximised by clever use of patio doors. There is a sitting room, bedroom, kitchenette and shower room which are beautifully fitted out with modern tasteful furniture. There are many clever design extras. The Garden area is a tranquil space. It was a perfect base for exploring the area. Additionally there was a generous breakfast basket with all we needed to assist the first night and morning of our self catering break. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and the WiFi was strong. A perfect spot.

This is a stunning B&B, that feels more like a home than a hotel. It is immaculately clean and has some beautiful personal touches. There are plenty of breakfast options and everything you would need is to hand. The hosts are so welcoming and definitely added to the enjoyment of our 2 night stay. Would definitely re-book if returning to the area.
