We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very clean and well maintained ~ many rooms looked modern and up to date. We stayed here while visiting the West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville.
I was traveling with my husband and 15 month old daughter. We asked if the hotel store sold any milk to drink for her bedtime routine, and while they didn't, the front desk staff immediately went into the back and got us a cup. It may sound lile a small thing, but it saved us a trip back out after a long day on the road to buy some ourselves.
This kind of hospitality was present through out our stay at the hotel. One staff member in particular, David, took the time to talk with us and made us feel incredibly welcome while we were there.
The hotel also offers a complimentary dinner every Wednesday night, something which I've never seen before at other hotels. While we did not get to try it ourselves due to a picky toddler, it both looked and smelled delicious.
This hotel was our favorite place we stayed at throughout our road trip through West Virginia. Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay and would stay there again if we are in the area.
