"Given that this hotel is situated in a complete rural area they offer a really high standard. The room is very clean, spacious and comes with phenomenal view over the village and ricefields. You got aircon, bathroom with wet-dry area separation and hit water. There is even a heating blanket provided for cold nights. The hotel is within walking distance to viewing platforms and provides a rooftop terrace for watching sunset and sunrise over the ricefields. I had a great stay!"

"The hotel is located between the 5th and 6th viewpoints, both within a 800-900 meter walk, which is quite convenient. The hotel restaurant also offers à la carte dining, and the food is delicious. While the facilities are certainly not on par with star-rated hotels—the shower drain was slightly clogged—it's quite good for a guesthouse in a scenic area."

"We originally planned to stay here for one day, but after arriving, we found the scenery so beautiful and the guesthouse so nice that we decided to stay another day. Honestly, if we hadn't already planned our subsequent itinerary, we would have loved to stay here for half a month. The rice terraces are, in my opinion, the most beautiful scenery in Guizhou. "Our stay began with a slight hiccup regarding the room type, but the owner, a pleasant young man, sincerely resolved it. Among accommodations in Jiabang, this guesthouse stands out for its pleasant environment. It's clean, and the rooms are spacious. For Jiache Village, the facilities are quite decent, and the location is excellent, conveniently situated on the road to Observation Deck #6. However, there were a few downsides. First, for guests staying multiple nights, daily room cleaning and replenishment of disposable toiletries are not standard. We noticed our room hadn't been serviced on the afternoon of our second day and had to request items from the owner. Second, our room was unfortunately situated directly above the kitchen's exhaust vent. During meal preparation, cooking fumes would waft into the room, making it impossible to open the windows. It was quite frustrating to keep them closed in such a fresh-air environment. Third, being a mountainous region, there's quite a bit of wildlife, so guests should be cautious. On our last morning, venturing out early around 6 AM, we encountered a small snake—about finger-thick and 30-40cm long—crawling near the first-floor staircase. Thankfully, my husband, who was ahead, didn't step on it, and we quickly walked around. This was the fifth snake we'd seen in our two weeks in Guizhou, but the others were unfortunately roadkill; this one was alive. While I understand this might be common in mountainous regions, guesthouses should ideally have measures in place to handle such encounters to prevent alarming guests. It's not easy for a young entrepreneur to run a guesthouse, and I hope its operations become more streamlined, eventually becoming a top accommodation choice for visitors. 🐵"
