Hotels near Far East Bar & Restaurant in Munich

The hotel was cozing and had good accomodations. Although not too modern, the room was equipped with everything we needed and had great acoustics. Parking in the surroundings was not very easy depending on the moment of the day. Breakfast was nice, with variety of food and typically German food included. The staff was nice but not very welcoming. The neighborhood was not very near to the city center, but that worked out really good for us, since we got to experience the local life.

Wow. The Service was simply amazing. We travelled with a little child. The staff arranged a nice crib for our baby, the foldable type but with its own clean cushion, bedsheets and towels. The hotel’s design is simple, our room was super clean, it smelled nice and it had a nice warm temperature. We are super happy to have stayed here and congratulate the management and employees for their customer centered service.

Amazing service and amenities. There are even activities for residents to join for free, eg Yoga class. The lobby is well decorated with a coffee shop/bar, and working space. There is also a rooftop bar. Best part of this place is there is a washing + drying machine in room, with free detergents given to us. 100% recommend.

Das Hotel ist relativ neu und modern eingerichtet. Das war dann auch schon das Positive. Das Personal ist schlecht geschult und unmotiviert. Wir hatten in allen Bereichen schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht: Der Check-In war eine reine ”Abfertigung”, meine Kreditkarte wurde lediglich zum Begleichen der Übernachtung verwendet, aber nicht zum Bezahlen an der Bar, was uns barsch von der Dame hinter der Theke beim Bestellen von Getränken gesagt wurde. Die Dame war unfreundlich und unmotiviert. Auch zu dem von uns gewählten Parkplatz haben wir falsche Auskünfte erhalten, was zu teuren Abschleppkosten geführt hätte, wenn wir nicht zufällig Mitarbeiter aus dem Nachbargebäude angesprochen hätten. Das Frühstück war sehr schlecht. Trockene Brötchen, angebrannte Rühreier(falls es denn tatsächlich Eier waren; was zu bezweifeln ist), der einzige Unterschied zwischen Wasser und Orangensaft war die Farbe. das Servicepersonal war unmotiviert und hat sich lieber um die Kaffeemaschine ”versammelt” und Kaffee getrunken, ohne festzustellen, dass für die Gäste keine Tassen mehr vorhanden sind. Das Zimmer war schmutzig. Der Teppich war verschmutzt und im Bad waren Haare vom Vormieter um das Waschbecken verteilt. Selbst nach der zweiten Zimmerreinigung hat sich daran nichts geändert. Das Beschwerdemanagement funktioniert überhaupt nicht. Auf unsere Beschwerden und Hinweise wurde auf keine Weise reagiert. Das Hotel ist definitiv nicht zu empfehlen!

We stayed here during Oktoberfest and the hotel was full but the only time you would notice was at breakfast. Big kudos to the staff who kept the breakfast area stocked and clean, they deserve a bonus because it was super busy. Breakfast was way better quality than what we get in the U.S. Our room was on the second floor and our view was the train yard. The windows are very good at keeping out the city noise and the hotel is designed well to reduce noise from other patrons. Room was clean except for some stains on the sofa upholstery and desk chair. Not sure why hotels used upholstered furniture that is tough to clean. Shower was good, plenty of hot water. Towels were too thin, they cheaped out on the towels. Location is good. Metro, tram and bus are very close by. Stephanie at the front desk was very helpful at checkout.

Wir haben hier nach einem langen Seminartag bei einem Aperol Spritz auf der Dachterrasse entspannt und sind überaus freundlich und schnell bedient worden. Der Blick auf das Kraftwerk ist nicht unbedingt überwältigend, aber in diesen Zeiten ist man froh, wenn man reisen darf und Wärme und Strom bekommt. In der Ferne sind hingegen andere markante Münchner Gebäude zu sehen, auch das berühmte Zeltdach der 50 Jahre alten Olympiabauten.

I'm really conflicted about this hotel, in some ways it's a great hotel and in others not so much. I'll start with check in, I booked a ”Queen bed” which to me means bigger than double especially as there is an option for just a double. so had to pay to upgrade to a ”executive room” which had the bigger bed, so another €60 on to our bill, but was discounted from €90. room was big, bed was very big and very comfortable. had to ask for a kettle (had a coffee machine but no kettle) had a minibar so a fridge which the first room didn't have even tho website says a minibar. all rooms have balconies but no furniture out there so I had to ask for chairs, also dont think the balconies have been cleaned in a while, i left foot prints in the dust. bathroom was old and needs refurbishment, shower pressure is rubbish, water drains very slowly and bath has all gone rusty. our first room was right next to the second room and overlooked some car park but then right next to it is a factory and then behind that some excavation work is taking place, the 1st night all was quiet as it was Easter but the second night from 3.30am lorries with there reversing noises where going on and that night the factory noise went on till almost 10pm. this is not the hotels fault- but if booking a room I would ask for a different location for room. breakfast was beautiful, everything u would want, all presented lovely and u could have omlette made to order. we used the resturant the 1st night, the food was very nice but very expensive- but we later found out this is how Germany is. Husband used the gym- mini gym as they call it and it is mini but it kept him happy for an hour. pool is a added bonus but pictures make it look bigger than it is, Sadly it was far too cold for me to get in and the steam/sauna are only turned on at certain times and we missed the time slot but they both looked good sizes. all the staff we came across, from reception, to restaurant and breakfast staff and especially the cleaners were lovely, very polite and helpful if u have any questions or requests. we would stay here again if it was the original price for the larger bed and if we had a different room location.

The hotel is located in Germering / Unterpfaffenhofen and is very cheap for visits to Munich and the surroundings (5-Seen-Land). It is newly renovated and very clean. The prices are very cheap - we paid with breakfast 125 EUR for 2 nights. Breakfast buffet offers something for everyone and is very extensive. Reception at the reception was friendly, check-in quickly and uncomplicated. The rooms are very small, however. The bathroom offers little deposit area, there is no box (this is not so tragic), but also for the bag offers little place. All in all the rooms are OK for the night. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are very quiet. There is also a GRATIS parking garage ! - that is now very rare - directly below the hotel. The infrastructure is very good - local and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. The S-Bahn Germering is about 10 minutes. This is about 30 minutes to the center of Munich. One point of criticism: There is still a little delay in the point of sustainability. On the one hand, the plastic bottles for tooth cleaning, which are once again sold in plastic, but also at breakfast there is still a lot of plastic (marmelade, yoghurt...etc), here you could find better solutions

We were here five nights as a family and felt very well. Friendly staff, a multi-faced breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, very clean, fair price-performance ratio. Because of tape is not suitable for allergics. Lightly (but thanks to quiet people, there was no problem). We left the car standing in the nearness of the hotel and were all the time on the way with ÖV (City Pass). Whether it would be like that again. Recommend the hotel and would also come back on your own.

Check in process was fast, after a long day at work with no hassle. Staff is welcoming. Room is comfy, great and clean. Breakfast has much variety and great options! Around 7-10mins walking distance from the nearest S bahn. Overall a great experience with holiday inn.
