Cocoon Sendlinger Tor

It’s really a nice experience in this hotel!!! Nice & big rooms, good environment, great facilities, kind people, & cheap locker (€3.00 for 24 hours, if I recall correctly). The last but not least is that you can get free water whenever the bar starts, which is warm hearted to those live inside this hotel. I will definitely come again when my next visit to Munich! P.S. We booked 2 different rooms, and both were fantastic!

This was my 2nd stay. I returned for a solo business trip, & selected it because of the wonderful week-long stay our family had during Christmas 2022. The rooms & lobby/bar-restaurant are sleek, comfy, & sparkling! The staff is friendly, helpful, & exceptionally accommodating. Great location -3 min walk to Goetheplatz U-bahn, 15-20 min walk to Marienplatz. The evening of check-in, I was personally greeted by manager, Andréa. He & I had a delightful introductory chat. After the 1st night, because of noisy outside construction which interfered with kitchen ventilation, I asked to be moved to the garden side. There was no hesitation! SO very much appreciated! Andréa saw me later, he called me by name & asked if I had a good night. I explained & told him the problem was cheerfully resolved. He kindly invited me to stop by for a complimentary coffee. After departing, I realized I'd left a scarf behind. I figured it for lost. Much to my surprise, I received an email asking if I wanted to pick it up or have sent. The link to mail it was in German, but a Cocoon team member helped me & resent in English. My scarf arrived in a couple of days. Looking forward to my next trip to Munich & another lovely stay at Cocoon Sendlinger Tor!

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my wife and we loved it. It's very cozy, the room was big enough for 2, very comfy bed, and all the hotel was very warm even if there was snow outside. The location is very close to Marieplatz, we walked pretty much for all our stay and we catched the train and the bus only for the airport and to reach Dachau, so I 'll give a 9 out of 10 for the location. I would like also mention and suggest to book your room with breakfast, it is rich, fresh and well served every morning.

Went for some after the christmas market food and a glass of wine. Atmosphere lovely. Pizza’s looked authentic and a proper pizza oven…… the reality pre-packed and made pizza base, only wholemeal available and poorly cooked. First pizza went back as it had the wrong toppings. Neither my husband or I could eat more than a third as they were so awful. We complained and they said we would only pay for one - even that was daylight robbery. The wine was nice and we happily paid for that.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel! It’s not luxurious, but it is in a great location and the room was comfortable. We didn’t have any issues and would stay again!!

Due to the bad weather, I stayed 3 days longer than expected and the hotel were able to accommodate me and ensure that I only had to make minimal room changes. At all times the staff were incredibly helpful during what was a very busy and stressful time. The location is great - just 3 minutes walk to Goetheplatz U station, but also an easy walk into town if you prefer. There are restaurants within easy reach, but the bar/restaurant at the hotel was a very pleasant place to spend an evening. My only complaint is that the reception area got very cold with the doors in constant use. For a business trip the only shortcomings were a lack of phone in the room (which wasn't a huge issue for me) and a desk. But then, I didn't book it with the intention of working in my room! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting to visit Munich and I would definitely stay again. It became a home from home while we waited for our re-scheduled flights home!

The receptionist Monika was super helpful and was able to help out with any questions that I had. Always welcomes customers with a friendly smile. My only 2 isses were there was no mini fridge to keep anything cold and that the hotel was in winter mode so i was only able to cool the room by opening windows even during rain.

Very nice modern hotel, clean and comfortable. Modest prices yet nice design. Conveniently located next to U-bahn. A few items could be improved in the rooms which are a bit small (very poor lighting and mirror for applying makeup, not much space for clothing) but for a budget hotel there are lots of amenities. I would stay here again for sure.
