This hotel is a good 25mins walk into the Old Town of Munich and next door to Octoberfest. It is also in a quite lively area and the noise late night is reflective of this. Hotel has a lovely ambience, we were 3rd floor, nice room, little tired but still enjoyable. Bathrooms is very good, roomy shower, great lights. Breakfast was all you could need, fresh fruits, bread, meat, cheeses etc. Bring your own tea as their tea selection didn't appear to have anything black, all a bit fruit unless you like Earl Grey. The gentleman who was on reception at our arrival (sorry didn't know name) was thoroughly helpful and knowledgeable, and couldn't do enough to help. Great recommendation for eating locally. Overall a lovely hotel

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Krone. The hotel was very clean, and the staff member was extremely friendly and kind. She gave us a lot of useful information about the area and was very helpful throughout our stay. However, the room was quite small, the lighting was very dim, and there was no air conditioning, which made the room less comfortable, especially during warm weather. Overall, we appreciated the cleanliness and the excellent service from the staff, but there are some areas that could be improved.

Giving 5 stars because I can’t properly rate the hotel as I never had the chance to stay there. We booked 2 rooms but were stranded in Doha during transit due to the war and had to return to our country after 10 days. I emailed the hotel to explain the situation, but unfortunately our refund request was rejected. I hope the hotel can be more understanding in exceptional situations like this.
