"My opinion: Good got solo travellers, don’t drive, prefer peace rather than happening places nearby. Good for biz trips. Location: Very convenient, right next to Neuperlach Sud station on U5 line which covers Ostbanhof couple stops away. Neighbourhood: fairly quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, not like the busy downtown. Good if you like some peace, not great if you’re looking for nightlife or exciting downtown activities. Hotel public areas: overrated to be considered the “most-instagrammable” hotel, don’t think of it as a high-end luxury type. But there are some funky stuff on levels 2 to 7, go explore their R&R rooms, from scenic Gym rooms to classic retro games room. Will keep you motivated for 2-3 nights at least. They have an onsite-laundry that uses App-based (niceGerman technology) Food/cafe: very convenient REWE next door. Onsite canteen was cool Italian food, but apparently it’s not open every day for dinner, careful on weekends. Next closest for food might be Neuperlach Zentrum which is just 2 stops away."

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including pots, pans, measuring cups, a cheese grater, plates, bowls, a kettle, and even a coffee maker. Cleaning supplies are located outside the room and can be accessed using the door card. Bed sheets and dish soap can be requested from housekeeping at any time. Checking out is easy; simply drop your card into the mailbox at the front office and click the checkout button via the email you received. Overall, it was excellent and very impressed!!"

It's just a stone's throw away from the Hackerbrücke S-Bahn station, and from there, it's just one stop to Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof). Getting to city center attractions like Marienplatz also takes only a few minutes. If you enjoy a good city walk, strolling along Arnulfstraße is also quite pleasant. 🛏️ Room & Facilities (6-person dorm): I booked a bed in a 6-person dorm. Space and View: The room is about 18-19 square meters. Even with bunk beds, there's still enough space to move around once everyone's luggage is laid out. The best part is that the room offers a very nice city view and good natural light, which prevents it from feeling cramped. Quietness: I must commend the hotel's front desk service! When I booked on Trip.com, I specifically requested to be 'away from the elevator.' True to their word, the front desk arranged for me to be in a room further down the corridor upon check-in. This is so important for a hostel, as it successfully avoided the noise of people coming and going in the middle of the night. I had a very good rest all three nights. Cleanliness: The cleanliness of the rooms and shared bathrooms is considered above average for hostels in the same price range in Europe. Housekeeping cleans daily. 💰 Value for Money & Additional Services: Price: For 3 nights, including taxes and various discounts, I only paid a total of 71.14 Euros! That works out to less than 24 Euros per night. In Munich, a city where every square inch counts, being able to rent a safe, clean, and conveniently located bed at this price is truly excellent value. Dining Suggestions: My booking did not include meals. While the hotel offers a breakfast buffet, I'd recommend exploring the nearby train station or bakeries for more choices and more authentic local food. 💡 Tips for Other Travelers: Remember to bring your own toiletries, towel, and slippers (due to European environmental policies, hostels usually don't provide these for free). Valuables need to be locked in a locker; it's advisable to bring your own padlock. If you're a light sleeper, remember to request 'away from the elevator' like I did when booking, or bring a pair of earplugs. Summary: If you're a solo traveler or student like me, with a limited budget and most of your time spent exploring the city, this A&O is definitely your top choice. "I booked a room with a garden view, and it was a good size, with a really spacious bathroom. I originally chose this place because it had cooking facilities, but having to pay an extra fee for it was a bit much, and I was too tired, so I gave up on that. The location is great, just a 5-minute walk from the central station, and there's a tram stop right in front of the hotel that takes you to many tourist attractions. It was much quieter than the place I stayed at previously, which was right opposite the central station, which I appreciated. My room faced a school, and a bell rang at 7:45 AM. It was actually perfect for waking up, getting ready, and heading out. Overall, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortably soft, which I liked. The self-check-in/out system was also very convenient. They offer a free breakfast voucher if you skip room cleaning, and the breakfast I had was absolutely delicious. I'd love to stay here again and highly recommend it to others."

"My stay in Am Moosfeld Hotel was amazing, free water upon checkin, free flowing water at the lobby, coffee available all day (at a cost), with indoor swimming pool and sauna available until 11pm. Hotel is about 10-15mins away from the nearest station which is great, and easy to navigate once you got used to it. Staff were very friendly."
