Stayed here for a few days recently. Room/bed was very comfortable, but we couldn’t get a signal on the TV. We only wanted to see the news in the evening so it wasn’t that much of a miss. Staff were very pleasant and enjoyed a laugh. Food was good and the snug/bar area was very cosy with a log burner. We stayed in room 7 which had a superb, uninterrupted view of the sea. Would recommend The Bandstand Hotel to anyone visiting Nairn.

Despite a bit of waiting on my check in as they couldn't find the key. The staff was very friendly and the fact that they have a pub made the moment very pleasant. The room was ok. Confortable bed and lovely views to the sea. Good breakfast with sea views. Sad I couldn't stay for another night as they will have live music.

Cute, clean rooms on top of a pub. Beautiful view of the water (we stayed in room 9). Surprisingly quiet for being on top of a bar!

Really nice cosy hotel. Room was lovely and big with a stunning view over the bay. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room with water and biscuits also. The staff were extremely friendly and both dinner and breakfast was outstanding. I can’t wait to come back

We booked a single night to rest between leaving Edinburgh and a slow trip down the Great Glen. What a wonderful surprise. The Bandstand is a lovely small inn & pub. Friendly staff, comfy room & great location. We actually regretted leaving after only one night. Nairn is a lovely and quiet town. We would definitely stay again. Be aware- all rooms are upstairs and there is no lift- which we’ve found to be typical in Scotland.

Comfortable room, very clean and cosy and well appointed. Friendly staff who all made me feel very welcome. Food was excellent, generous breakfast included all in a gorgeous location and only 20min train ride to Inverness. Look forward to staying agian.

We came back for a weekend after discovering the Bandstand as a restaurant earlier in the year. It amazingly combines a great community venue, very comfortable hotel, fine dining restaurant, excellent bar meals, good music, and a great welcome to visitors. Coming at Hallowe'en we would have been welcome to join the lively party (great decorations, and the owner is a skilled drummer!!), but chose not to. The quality of music was excellent (calling it the Bandstand is very clever!), but we were given a peaceful room where we were not at all disturbed. It is tremendous to experience such high quality and accommodating service - and a genuine feeling of welcome - at such a difficult time for the hospitality business. The Bandstand's own beer (brewed by the Cromarty Brewery) is great too! As a hotel, bar and/or restaurant, we'll be back!

A fine hotel to stay, very friendly, food excellent. The rooms are well decorated, good facilities,modern furniture and comfortable. Ideally situated to enjoy Nairn, the beach and riverside walk with wildlife. Recommended.

Went to this friendly establishment yesterday and i must say the food was good and the lad serving us was quick and friendly and looked after us brilliantly. However his manager as we were entering the lovely little place for the second time as we were to early for food, walked past the kind water and scuffed oh for f*'k sake. We were behind him and seen the whole thing. The waiter was stunned she could be so rude and unprofessional. My partner had a word with her and she blamed it on her staff. She did tell them not to take on any more seats as two big parties were coming in to dine however the party's were not that big and the place wasnt even full. Im sure the owners would like to here aboit that. The staff were doing there best and for them to be scuffed at like that if they did something wrong or not is abismal. No one should have to work in that environment. I feel sorry for the workers here because they were great and had to watch each others backs because of her terrible attitude. We were left to feel very unwelcome from the get go but the kind waiter set us at rest. We are newly married so for all she knew we could have bought 3 bottles of champagne. Our money is as good as any party's. This is no reflection on the lovely pub or there workers but i feel the place would get on alot better without her. I honestly dont think id go back if shes still working as manager. The atmosphere wasnt the same after that.

Had dinner in the bandstand and the staff were exceptional, very friendly and knowledgeable! The food arrived piping hot, was delicious and the cheesecake was out of this world We Will be visiting again

Lovely hotel great food staff are friendly and helpful and 150 malt whiskies to choose from the room was comfy excellent view of the beach the breakfast room nicely decorated the evening meal and choices of menu was excellent

Great position and very friendly service

We thought the accomodation was excellent and enjoyed our breakfasts. Staff really helpful and friendly
