Especially when you can watch the sunset slowly setting into the sea in the room, it is as moving as a painting. The place for bathing. There is also a bath where you can see Nanao Bay up close. It is indeed a very unforgettable travel experience and highly recommended! The only flaw for me is that the quilt is a little thicker ~ everything else is perfect!

"Wakura Onsen for the first time." The inn we chose is Tadaya, which stands alone on the west side of the hot spring town. It's a little far from the hot spring town, so it's not suitable for walking around the hot spring town, but the quiet environment facing Nanao West Bay was very nice. The scale of the hot spring is not too big, and I think that is also connected to the comfort. After relaxing in the hot springs, enjoy dinner. At a nice restaurant, I had a kaiseki meal named "Gift from Satoyama Satoumi". All the dishes that are brought are beautiful to look at, and the dishes are also nice. Each dish is given a name, such as ``Haru no Shiokaze,'' and the naming is also stylish. The next morning, I was able to relax and enjoy the view of the quiet Nanao West Bay until check-out time.

Tadaya is a Japanese-style inn located at the western end of Wakura Onsen, facing Nanao West Bay. This is an inn where you can spend a relaxing and wonderful time, which is difficult to experience in a large-scale inn with hundreds of rooms. From our guest room, we could see the sea of Nanao West Bay, and we could see the sun setting over the small hill beyond the bay. The dinner I was looking forward to was a kaiseki meal named "Gift from Satoyama and Satoumi." I ate while looking at the menu and the dishes that were brought, but the names of the dishes written on the menu are quite charming. "Sea Breeze of Spring", "News from Satoumi", "Tenderness and Even the Earth"... Of course, it was delicious, not just the name. We also had local sake with the food, and the sake cups were also wonderful, the first being tin products and the second being Wajima lacquerware.

I asked for a special room for my family of 11. My grandchildren asked me to stay at Tadaya again this time. But it's a distance that doesn't bother you by car. Both adults and children were absorbed in playing with the fishing gear I borrowed. My son was doing the challenge at 5 o'clock the next morning.

Since I was surprised by the deliciousness of the food and the high level of hospitality of the staff when I first stayed, it has been my favorite ryokan that I have stayed at every year. Every time I stay in a room with an open-air bath in the VIP room Rikyu, the room is spacious and meticulously cleaned. The scenery is the best and the open-air bath that you can put in 24 hours is also pleasant. Regarding meals, it seems that they have been renewed since April 2021, and they have changed from Japanese kaiseki cuisine to creative cuisine. This is very disappointing, and to be honest, it wasn't delicious at all. The sashimi is fresh, but it's a shame because I was looking forward to it every time just because the amount and type were lined up. In addition, it is said that seasonal local vegetables are used, but the same ingredients are used many times, and this ingredient? I thought. I was surprised that the Noto beef grilled on an additional plate was also stiff and hard, unlike before. Overall, the quantity has definitely decreased, and it seems that the quality has dropped significantly, but is it a cost reduction? Also, the person in charge of the room asked me many times if I didn't have to eat the food that didn't suit my taste and I couldn't eat it, but I asked many times. I don't know if it's because they're a young couple, but it was kind of confusing when they talked to me. I think that Mr. Tadaya, who I loved so much, has disappeared. It is very disappointing.

リニューアルオープンしてから1度2020/9月に行かせていただいてます。リニューアル前も何回か１階の釣りできる部屋限定で行かせていだだきました。息子が幼稚園くらいの時行った時も庭から釣りをし大きな魚を釣り調理していただきました。その息子も 今年6月パパになります。一階の釣りできる部屋を全てに泊まりたいと勝手に思ってます。 今後復興に向け前向きに考えていただければと思います。多田屋様の今後に期待してます。
