Hyatt Place Nashville Downtown Reviews

Renovations and construction took away from experience but staff were not pleasant or nice to deal with. Many issues to list... none dealt with in a professional manner

We usually stay here when we visit Nashville. This time may change our choice. Heavy duty construction started at 7:00 am.

Very nice clean place to stay liked the night security and the key security on the elevator but a little dissatisfied with the breakfast during the week. The timing is not convenient for people on vacation should open a little later in the morning.

The hotel was undergoing construction so things were out of place, but the staff were very nice and accommodating to their guests

It was a good experience overall. I just wish the restaurant in the hotel was open, not sure if it was being renovated at the time we stayed.

We weren’t in the room from 5-11pm. Came back and the AC wasn’t working. We went to Lobby to ask about it and was told “Maintenance won’t be here till the morning. And we’re full so no room to move you to”’ Nothing else was offered or done and she didn’t seem to care one bit. Didn’t offer a partial refund or anything. So we slept terrible all night in a very warm/stuffy room

We loved that the property was within walking distance of Broadway and Printer's Alley. As first timers in Nashville, we wanted to experience both areas. The breakfast buffet options were also wonderful, and we loved that we had access to pretty much everything we needed within a short walk.

Clean, comfortable hotel within walking distance to Broadway, Bridgestone, etc. Enjoyed our stay. They are remodeling the lobby but had good breakfast options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only a couple of minor issues-bathroom is a glass bar door slider so if you turn the light on in the middle of the night-it’s pretty bright. Slider on the shower wouldn’t stay closed so water leaked from the shower-but not deal breakers for sure. ;)

Nice room, close to attractions, the included breakfast was good all 3 days of my stay though all three days the garbage was over flowing in the dining area. The hotel lobby was under construction during my stay as well.

Walking distance to Broadway, facility was clean and always attended. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a perfect location for easy walking to Broadway, Hall of Fame and other attractions. Great breakfast options offered. Relatively quiet location. Room was comfortable. Only negative was our room was not refreshed for the entire 4 night stay and we had to ask for fresh towels.

Traveling with family for a special birthday. Booked a non-refundable at this location and inadvertently booked the second room at another Hyatt (Hyatt House). Hyatt Place happened to be booked solid and would NOT let me cancel to book my stay at the Hyatt House (which had availability). Called numerous times to try to get someone to help - reservation manager VERY unhelpful. Finally called Hyatt Place front desk and had a staff member help. Although they did not have the authority to let me cancel, she suggested I book and move to the Hyatt Centric (across the street) for my Sat night stay. Although inconvenient, she at least used some customer service skills. Will certainly prioritize other hotels chains prior to booking with the Hyatt for future business & personal stays. I book travel often and have never had a problem canceling a non-refundable.

Pros: -Location Cons: -No blankets, just 2 sheets on all beds -No food option in hotel even though the website says 24/7 food options -Insanely noisy - like couldn’t sleep due to outside noise all night.

Would definitely stay here again. Excellent location, extremely clean, great breakfast with lots of options, and the bed was so comfortable. They were under construction but they made good use of other space to make it nice for everyone!
