Housekeeping was understaffed but the owner went out of his way for us. Inexpensive oceanfront hotel. Real good value considering its location!!!☺️

Roots Bamboo is the place to be if you enjoy live reggae music and good vibes! The staff is friendly and welcoming and makes you feel like part of the family. As a solo female traveler, they made sure to check on me regularly and wanted to help me with anything I needed. I will definitely be back to stay at Roots Bamboo again soon! One love…

Room was a shack. No security, anyone can walk right up to your room. Bar and resraurant/hotel are separate neither is anybgood.

Nothing fancy here however it’s very clean and comfortable and friendly staff. The beach area was not kept there was a lot of sea**** which should have been clean to give the beach area a better appearance instead of looking dirty.

My stay was good. My only issue is that I didn't have time to wait for the Jamaican style breakfast, which is made to order.

Enjoyed everything about my stay. I felt safe, staff was very friendly...Ms Opia was professional and kind. The breakfast was delicious. Very clean room and the location was everything.Highly Recommend!!!

Walk ways were slippery with moss. Cottage style rooms with slat windows. Because of this, there's not much privacy.
