Not very recommend this hotel

A great location and rooms are spacious, but we found the property to be not very clean and very wet and musty smelling. There was also a lot of people smoking, so you couldn’t open your windows, so not very family friendly

Good position and had everything that we needed but the apartment was just a bit bland and tired looking. With a quick update this place would be so much more inviting

Had a decent stay at Mantra in Nelson Bay. Like other reviews have said, the property is dated and could use some upgrades inside the rooms, but it was decent enough and very clean. Good location, close to shops, cafes and restaurants. Pool area does get quite busy with nice weather and it can get loud but overall happy with our experience.

I really liked the size of our unit and the fact that everything was within walking distance. Friendly staff too.

Huge 3 bed apartment, great layout. In need of some general maintenance and the balcony needs a good clean! Even clearing all the leaves would have made a big difference. Lots of aging items inside, some updates definitely needed. Still had a great stay.

Fantastic place to stay, so much to do. Friendly staff & the apartment was comfy and well appointed. Will definitely stay again!

Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Pool and BBQ area was fantastic.

if stay for more than 1 day, we would need to wash our towel for tomorrow use. no one clean the aprtment and we also do our own rubbish clean during our stay.

I would say just OK, cleanness is not good, toilet & shower was not cleaned. Also ants in bed. Staffs are nice, location is good and quiet. Beautiful court yard and swimming pool, parking is easy. Facility is OK. I think they need to find better cleaner.

The Mantra was only a few minutes walk from the town centre, Marina and supermarket. Undercover reserved secure parking and lift access were great. The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed for a large family. Pool was clean and well sized. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Will stay here again, highly recommended.

Rooms were beautiful pool was lovely parking was awesome would highly recommend. My kids wanted to stay forever lol

Good facilities but the rooms seemed to be quite dated.

Stayed here for over 2 weeks. Great property. Very convenient. Can walk everywhere in Nelson Bay. Many local coffee shops, restaurants, and small businesses nearby. Woolworth's supermarket is new and modern. The front staff are super friendly and very welcoming. Rooms are spacious and fully equipped. Staying for that long, it is nice to have space and also your own laundry facilities in-room. Pool and spa are great, and designated undercover parking is available. Overall a great stay.
