Mena Plaza

Excellent Excellent hotel in a great location. Very clean. Lovely staff. Breakfast good value but in a small basement room so next time we will have on the terrace. Bit noisy outside over the weekend with lots of children playing ball games and parents enjoying the beer, wine and tapas.

Pluses: *location : perfect with a short stroll through the plaza towards the beach * cleanliness : as luck has it, we were able to check-in early due to availability and a strong waft of bleach greeted steps away from the room entrance - cleanliness is indeed hotel's top serious priority 😜 *staff : the safe in the room was temporarily unaccessible; this was promptly fixed by the lady in charge; courteous and prompt hospitality throughout *room : functional with mini fridge (no kettle), strong shower and mini balcony Could be improved: * parking : paid private carpak at €12/day. Perhaps the daily rate could be further improved? We were out most of the time and only parked at night but it was near to impossible to find a slot on the street.

Great place to stay in the center of Nerja. You can go everywhere just walking (we loved the restaurant Oliva, just going down the stairs). It can be too noisy because of the children birthday parties at the café on the square though.

Stayed here for 3 nights, room was very comfortable, staff were friendly. All in a very good location very central to all the bars and restaurants. The hotel breakfast was good, and the parking was also a bonus.The cafe / bar attached to the hotel was really convenient, would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our fourth visit to this excellent hotel. Agree with other posts all the staff are superb and the hotel is kept spotlessly clean. If you like a big lounge and bar in a hotel this is not for you. However the cafe at the front of the hotel is excellent and well supported. It is part of the hotel but run as a separate operation so you cannot put drinks / food on your room. The rooftop pool has fantastic 360 views of sea and mountains and a great place to sunbathe.

We needed a room at short notice and the 2 lively young ladies on the reception were so helpful. The room was clean with a beautiful sunny balcony with loungers. We paid for breakfast which was very good. The hotel is a short walk to the balcon and very central. Will 100% return

Good hotel with central location and close to the main Nerja plazas, bars, cafes and restaurants. It had a bar which served a mixed snack menu but not full meals. Nice roof terrance with a small pool with seating and loungers. Rooms are fairly basic but comfortable apart from pillows which we weren't impressed with. It was clean throughout. We took breakfast which was decent, a good selection of cooked, cereals, fruit and pastries, cheeses and ham. Parking was available at about €10 daily. Rear rooms have no view, we couldn't see us using the balcony at all no matter what time of the year. Suggest you book or ask for rooms at front of hotel for a view of sorts although sometimes the plaza gets noisy as it's used for local events. Only improvement might be a mirror above the dressing table/desk and a stool. We would use it again.

Clean, well situated hotel. All the staff at all levels have been polite, helpful and accommodating. Conveniently placed, easy access to all amenities in the town. Would be more than happy to return.
