Absolutely fabulous place to stay and the breakfast was amazing! Honesty bar and lounge areas were great to have an after dinner drink and chat to others. Really cosy atmosphere and packed lunch was amazing - the biggest filled sandwiches I've ever had! Highly recommend and owner couldn't be more helpful.

Our stay here was excellent. The b and b is tastefully decorated and Dianne, the owner, is very pleasant and helpful. Our room was lovely with comfy beds and a well appointed bathroom. There is a well-stocked “trust” bar to have a drink in a pleasant sitting room. The breakfast is varied with plenty of variety. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great place to stay. Host was warm and welcoming. Check in and checkout were easy. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable, and everything was in good working order. The location in downtown Brampton is good. Breakfast bar was delicious. Excellent Indian restaurant just a five minute walk away.

We had the best weekend here staying with family. Dianne is so accommodating & goes above & beyond to ensure you have a lovely stay and is always on hand if you need anything. The accommodation itself is perfect- very clean & spacious and has everything you need as well as fab location. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

This beautifully decorated venue was perfect for our big family Xmas get together for the second year running. It has everything you need and more we love the games to enjoy while all sitting in front of the fire. The beds and bedding is top quality for a good nights sleep really comfy. Diane is the perfect host always on hand if needed. Lovely area to have a walk around exploring.

We all had a fantastic long weekend at the Scotch Arms Mews, it was like having our own pub. As a group of 14, we spent most of our time in the bar area with the fire lit and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped, there was a huge dining room and the bedrooms were all lovely and comfy. The location was also great for us, right in the centre of Brampton for shops, food and pubs and also within easy reach of Hadrian’s Wall. The only slight downside was the road is quite busy and is a bit noisy but earplugs are provided. Would definitely love to stay again, thank you Dianne.

Amazing place to book with group of friends. Rooms are lovely all en suite. Kitchen has all you need ,if you plan to cook . Bar in middle room ,this was brilliant. Big dining room area ,with downstairs toilets . All lovely and clean . Hairdryer in rooms too. A definite recommendation.

The Scotch Arms is the perfect venue for a large family getaway. The location is excellent for exploring Cumbria, the Lakes and Scotland. The hosts are extremely friendly and have catered for all needs. This is the second time we have stayed here and I have no doubt that we will be back again!

Beautiful place, central for touring North Cumbria, Hadrians Wall, Gretna Green, Carlisle and the northern Lake District. This is our second visit hiring the whole place for a week with 3 generations of our family. You have your own pub with bar(provide your own drinks) lounges, main one with a roaring log fire. We will certainly go again.
