HI New York City Hostel

Good for a few nights stay, staff were friendly. Shower rooms were separate but all in all a nice hostel

They should focus on Cleanliness more, the bed sheets are not changed daily, Cleanliness of the washrooms was messy, but the location and cost and amenities were awesome

I've met alot of people in this hostel and Its very opotunity to met friends

The check in process was very quick and felt very rushed. There was no tour of the building so I was left to find things on my own. Thats my only complaint, other than that it was accurately descirbed.

AMAZING value for money. The staff is super friendly and the guests are very international and social. The hostel offered lots of free activities every day. I was amazed by their sightseeing tours, yoga or karaoke. Amazing company and offering!

Very crowded place I’m not that comfortable staying here but if your on a tight budget it’s okie

During my week-long stay at Hi New York hostel from December 14th to 21st, I found the overall experience to be quite enjoyable. The check-in process was seamless, thanks to the ever-present front desk staff who were helpful and efficient, ensuring a smooth start to my stay The proximity of the canteen and cafeteria next to the reception area added to the convenience. The cafeteria offered a delightful selection of freshly baked goods and various beverages, making it a pleasant spot to unwind. While I explored nearby Bodegas for budget-friendly groceries, the hostel's public kitchen became my go-to for preparing breakfast and dinner. Although the communal kitchen occasionally suffered from post-use neglect, the dedicated hostel staff ensured it remained clean and well-equipped. The cleanliness of the shared facilities extended to the toilets, which were consistently well-maintained and stocked with amenities. This attention to hygiene contributed significantly to a positive overall experience. Despite booking a bed in a 12-bed room, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and the daily cleaning routine carried out by the diligent hostel staff. Adding to the positive experience, the Hi New York hostel's location proved to be exceptionally convenient for exploring major destinations. The hostel's close proximity to a subway station, just a 2-minute walk away, made traveling around the city a breeze. This accessibility enhanced the overall convenience of my stay, allowing me to easily reach and explore various attractions without any hassle. The strategic location near the subway station was undoubtedly a valuable asset for anyone looking to make the most of their time in the city. In essence, Hi New York hostel provided a comfortable and budget-friendly accommodation option with its friendly staff, convenient amenities, and well-maintained communal spaces. My stay was marked by a harmonious balance of affordability and quality service.

Having clean beds,theaters, sofas, free wifi, and kitchens was really nice and the price was nice for its location. I just wish the shower was nicer. There’s just a soap for body and hair, and you need slippers to go into the shower room cause I don’t think the room that shares the floor with the toilet is clean . But it’s up to the person’s higiene standard maybe.
