The staff on the desk were lovely The room was nice enough however there was a few points i was unhappy with. no power sockets near the bed, the TV was not in a good location to be able to watch it from bed. The shower cubicle was small and the shower head from the ceiling was not ideal when trying to shower without having to wash my hair!

No complaints about the hotel itself as we have stayed there before but unfortunately we got very little sleep due to our room being opposite ‘The vineyard’ which used to be a normal wine bar and now has music on until 3am ! And it was extremely loud. Even though our windows had secondary double glazing you can clearly hear the tunes! If you stay and are a light sleeper I would suggest a room at the back of the hotel. If you are young and going to be out anyway it won’t be an issue.

Great central location Room- Good air conditioning Liver the bath and shampoos etc- good hot water temp Lumpy pillows and the bed not very comfortable, creaky and old. Only enough coffee sachets for 1 cup so I went to tescos and bought my own- extra coffee would have been appreciated! Good sound proofing in rooms However would not book again due to uncomfortable mattress and pillows

Great stay in the Gray Street Hotel. Easy to walk to from the train station and in a great spot for exploring the city centre. Staff were friendly and room was nice.

Had an amazing stay here at the Lord Collingwood suite. Room was clean, tidy, well presented and had ample soap, shower gel, tea, coffee etc. The only minor issue was hair left in the bathtub after the previous guest. Although I understand housekeepers do miss these little things, it is still a necessity to ensure no hair or dirt is left in the bathroom. The location is fantastic; very close to the city centre, quayside and the train station. Will definitely return! ☺️

Great hotel, good location central to lots restaurants, pubs, cafes. Close to train station too. Hotel room spotlessly clean and breakfast very good. We will definitely be back.

Great experience, starting from being accommodated upon our early arrival at the hotel. Our second floor room had great views down over Grey Street and the Grey Street Hotel was the perfect base for exploring this vibrant city. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious and staff everywhere around the hotel were really friendly and helpful. Would totally stay here again.

Nice hotel, great location. Rooms are nicely decorated. We had a room that looked into the back courtyard so not much to see and it was a bit on the dark side. A few niggles. The shower is a bath combined and it's a decent climb in so not for someone less mobile. In addition, the shower head is fixed so difficult to stand under it - it tends to hit you in the chest or back. I would still recommend it for it's style and convenient location to the city centre.

Really poor nights sleep. Extremely noisy. When I mentioned it to reception, they just said sorry. Yes it can be noisy and they will get someone to check the double glazing. Didn’t make any offer to help put things right.
