The place is tired & worn out. Thumb up for the 3 baths (outside and inside hot spring), thumb down for the food. Very disappointed by Heike's okaribayaki that looks great on photos but didn't taste good. I wonder if that was because we were part of a tour group. The less variety but the better quality of food would be appreciated.

We stayed here for one night (5 people/2 rooms) to celebrate my mother's recovery. We booked separately, so the buildings were far apart, but they changed it so that the rooms were next to each other. The view from the rooms was spectacular. (It's a bit disappointing that it's still too early for the autumn leaves.) Also, since we told them it was a "recovery celebration," there was a little surprise with the dessert at dinner.
