Great hotel with an amazing view of Lake Chuzenji. We weren’t aware of the self check in policy and we arrived after 6pm so there were no staff around to help us. The self check in machines are a little hard to figure out but one of the restaurant staff helped us and it all worked out in the end. The onsen is great and the free bicycles were wonderful to ride around the lake. The room was comfy and spacious. One issue with the onsen is that you can hear everyone in the female onsen from the male onsen. Usually this is fine because most people are quiet, but one of the nights there were several women and children screaming and talking loudly and shouting to their relatives in the male section.

Really nice room with an epic view of the lake and enough space for everything. Meals are wonderful and abundant and a seasonal selection each day Perfect place to stay if you are planning to explore okunikko area or to cycle around the lake, there are also restaurants nearby for lunch. The public bath is very pleasant with an outdoor spring to soak in while enjoying an open sky. Found out there was a shuttle bus back to tobu-nikko station setting off at 11am from the hotel after speaking to a kind staff member, Diane. Do make reservations for the shuttle beforehand at the reception if you plan to take this as well. Rental bikes available at the Nikko natural history museum which is a 10min walk from the hotel

Dinner is very good , they provide menu in course and free flow for the drink which is include alcohol ie. beer , wine , sake etc.

Over expectation. I stay in dormitories type , budget concern but facilities is very good. I like on sen bath and beverage bar in the evening , really enjoy. This is smart hotel , QR code to communicate anything , self service. Will not fit to Anyone need operation care

It is considered a good place to stay, in the middle of a small town, up on a mountain, with few people, lots of nature, and a view of the lake that shines with light during the day. or the moon shining in the night The room was very large for more than 2 people. There was a normal bed and a futon. Japanese floor seating area And the onsen in the hotel that broke midnight was very impressive. When we first arrived, the young employee didn't seem too interested in us. Even though we understand that we still can't check in. We just want to leave our bags first. So I secretly deducted service points. But when checking out, I found an employee who was a bit older. He looked very enthusiastic. I'm very impressed. Thank you so much for being the employee when checking out, it really changed my mood.

A relatively new hotel in Nikko, opposite Lake Chuzenji. Self-service check-in, password door lock is quite convenient, dinner and breakfast are set meals, and the dining order is very good. Most of the guests staying at the hotel are Japanese domestic tourists.

The hotel is great, unexpectedly big~ The hot spring area is bigger than it looks in the photos, and very comfortable. You can see the stars in the sky when you soak in the outdoor hot spring at night. After soaking in the hot spring, there is a rest area with free drinks and you can sit there. Looking at the lake in a daze. The breakfast and dinner were very rich and delicious. On the day I went, the surrounding area was closed on a regular holiday, so it is highly recommended to stay and eat at once! There is also a board game area and youth hostel beds. It’s a great hotel!

In this hotel, remember to pick up a yukata and toiletries in front of the elevator on the first floor. If you choose a capsule hotel, it only has a bed cover and mattress. You need to fold the quilts together before you can sleep. The hot spring in the hotel is a sulfur spring. You need to walk a long corridor to get to the big bath, and there is a good rest space and billiards facilities on the third floor. It is a good place if there are not many people.

It was my first time staying in a room with other people, and the experience was not good! I had clearly arranged for the lower bunk in F20, but when I got there I found that someone was already sleeping in my bunk! I argued with the waiter, and he said that the person on the upper bunk might have made a mistake and slept on the lower bunk, so he asked me to sleep on the upper bunk! I was so depressed. It was very inconvenient to get on and off the upper bunk. Why did I have to be treated like this? Later, the waiter called and said that I could be exempted from 1,000 yen. I said thank you! But when I checked out the next day, I still didn’t see the refunded 1,000 yen. I asked the front desk clerk, and they made two invoices for me. They said that they had returned the money. I thought it was a system delay, but it has been 5 days and I still haven’t received the refund! It’s not much money, so it doesn’t matter, but I just can’t swallow this breath, so I’ll comment here and share it with everyone. In the future, when you ask for a refund in Japan, try to ask them to refund in cash, otherwise the money will be gone after transferring it back and forth 😳

I booked a single dormitory in the lakeside hotel, which is very suitable for backpackers and the price is relatively affordable during the peak season. There are public toilets, 3 public showers, and a public reading room. If breakfast and dinner are not included, there are many places to eat on the left hand side when you go out. If you sleep on the upper bunk, there will be noise when you move up and down and turn over. The dormitory is a good choice for people who don't mind people who are not noisy and don't mind the quality of the people staying there.
