The Grove

After this being sold out last what I was glad to be able to purchase some tickets in November for June this year. I could tell the service was going to be excellent from the moment Sarah said hello to us and then to find out she was the owner of such a great experience was lovely. The setting is beautiful and even though it was a bit cold and cloudy, the experience was still great. The food is lovely particularly the coronation chicken sandwiches and you can try the different teas. I look forward to visiting again or trying one of the other experiences and it is nice to know if it is going to rain Sarah gives the option of changing the booking.

We stayed one night in mansion rooms for our 20th wedding anniversary. Room 16 We have been fortunate to stay here many times over the last10 years plus with and without kids. The welcome is always very good from the valet luggage guys Checked in by Kespar and I can say he was excellent in fact the best, friendliest welcome we have ever had staying at the hotel. He show us to the room and was very engaging we both said how good he was ! You know sometimes at a 5 star hotel the welcome is cold and too professional and the balance is off, the Grove gets this balance right and Kespar perfect . The room was very nice we normally have a deluxe room but if just the 2 of us will definitely always stay in the mansion house . The air conditioning was temperamental but we was told this could be overridden and the thermostat in the shower will possibly need replacing which we told the front desk on check out but free mini bar and ice cream is and nice touch Over all we liked the room very calm and relaxing. Lunch at the stables which was ok, service a little slow but staff were friendly. Spa pool nice as always and the wall garden area we love at this hotel, grounds are always beautiful. Dinner at Madhus which was pretty good, tables were very small and felt too close to the next table. Staff were very good and the restaurant had been renovated since last time and was better but I remember the food being more stand out before but a nice meal . Cocktails in bar very nice the Grove old fashioned is very good I think it would be better with 1 large ice cube but still loved it. Breakfast was excellent and massive improvement the bacon and sausage cooked over the coals were outstanding. Sometimes breakfast at any hotel, especially the glasshouse feel a little bit stressful and chaotic at busy times but this time it was much better. One criticism is the coffee is not great basic bean to cup I would rather wait longer and get a great coffee or at least good filter coffee . We loved this hotel it has a special place in our and our kids hearts. 20 year anniversary could’ve gone to the Corinthia , Hamyard but was alway going to choose the Grove and they didn’t disappoint may us feel very special ! Every time we stay here we are left wanting more which is a good sign, easily spend 3 days plus here . I think there has been many positive improvements since our last visit it’s a amazing place for couples but also family’s Keep up the good work guys we love it here

Feast on Cloud 9 at The Grove was a phenomenal afternoon tea experience. Everything was top class from the service, the food through to the ambience and setting. We fully recommend the experience of having tea in the hot balloon setting. The whole experience was relaxed and satisfying. Regards, George

This experience has not only earned my praise but also my loyalty; we are already planning our return, this time booking several nights at the hotel to fully immerse ourselves in its offerings. The Cloud 9 team deserves special commendation for their impeccable service. Their professionalism and attention to detail rival the highest standards I have encountered in elite Dubai restaurants.
