For a youth hostel, the value for money is excellent. I stayed in a 6-bed mixed dormitory. The room was very clean and spacious, with good ventilation. Clean pillows, blankets, and towels were provided.
There's a private locker in the room for valuables, but it's not big enough for a suitcase. If you need to store luggage, you'll have to pay an additional 1 Swiss franc at the front desk to rent a larger locker.
Although the location is a bit far from the train station, after booking online, you'll receive an email from the hostel asking you to register for Nyon's travel card. This travel card allows you to use public transport within the city for free, which is a very thoughtful touch.

Pictures are from the balcony of room 30. Big room, clean and quiet. Safe and quiet neighborhood in a safe and quiet little town of about 23000 inhabitants. But nothing to do around the hostel, not even a place to park the car :(

We had a pleasant stay at the hostel in Nyon. The accommodation has a good atmosphere and is well-suited for a stay in the city. The breakfast was rather modest, but sufficient for a good start to the day. A particular highlight: the coffee was really delicious! Overall, we were satisfied and would recommend the hostel for a short stay in Nyon.

Hostel room was spacious for 6 beds. Nice big door to let the wind in, but can get pretty warm in the summer with only one stand-fan to share. More fans would be appreciated.
Nice, spacious and clean showers. Dining area and relaxing/play area are good for working or chatting. Outdoor dining area is very nice. Not too far a walk from the Nyon train station, but could be a bit difficult if traveling with heavy baggage. Love the free transport card that allows us to go all the way up the mountains to La Cure!

Honestly, one of the best hostel with the best facilities/equipments for basic travelling needs.
First, clean af. Second, the shower room is designed really well: well-lit, have separate and large shower/changing cubicles, and equipped with very effective hairdryers. Third, luggage storage is free, secure and convenient to use. Fourth, it has a good kitchen/common area. Fifth, the price includes free breakfast starting at 630am, enough early of a time.
However, the kitchen is closed at 2300 and only reopens only at 0630; for those who needa leave the place early in the morning will have to negotiate earlier with them (to avoid possible unpleasant encounter). And if you can’t have breakfast during the assigned time, there’s no other alternative like simple packed breakfast possible—good thing tho, the free flow coffee starts at 3am.
It’s a place I would think of staying, if I happened to visit this area again.

I have to give this hostel a thumbs up; it's one of the best I've ever stayed in. The six-person dorm was spacious, very clean, and had its own toilet. The shared shower room was clean, the shower stall was large, and the column exhaust fan worked very well. There were card-operated lockers in both the rooms and on the basement, which were very secure. It's about a 1-kilometer walk from the center of Nyon's old town and offers a one-day pass for transportation, which can save you some money when buying a ticket back to Geneva. From Nyon's dock, you can take a boat to the French town of Yviore, which is a great day trip experience.
