Stayed one night while cycling the Camino del Norte. Was looking forward to a swim after a hard day in saddle but sadly there was no water in what looked like a dark pit, and it was hard to imagine it every looking like the photo promoted by the B&B. Room was fine - very quiet. Food was poor. As a vegetarian, choices were non existent so chose the 15E cheeseboard which was little bits of hacked up cheeses - piled onto a board in different shapes, some with rind on, others rind off as though the person preparing was not sure how to serve it - very uninspiring and way over priced in comparison with local restaurants. Salad was a prepacked bag of leaves- some of which had wilted and were inedible. The Spanish family next to us left virtually everything untouched but the staff didn't remove the untouched plates which seemed odd as other guests were seeing this and wondering. Staff were friendly and trying but it did seem that they were out of their depth with the dining experience. Breakfast involved a tick chart (C-19) but not everything ticked appeared on the table. There was a good fruit bowl though. Overall, it was adequate but didn't compare favourably with other places we stayed. I'm sure C-19 has had a negative impact on income, as it has everywhere and this place could be a wonderful oasis but just wasn't that day.
