While my husband and I were traveling through OKC, we unfortunately had a minor ”mishap” due to severe weather which resulted in 2 flat tires to our rental car. Shook up and wet, we looked for the nearest shelter to assess the situation, which happened to be this hotel. We were not guests at this hotel, however, it was the quickest way to get out of the rain. I went inside to advise the front desk clerk, Vonda, why we were parked under the awning in the front of their hotel blocking the entrance with our disabled vehicle. I also advised that we were waiting for a tow truck and were trying to get a ride to pick up another car. Vonda was very helpful and extremely sympathetic to our situation. Even allowing us to use their luggage cart to unload our car before it was towed. This was really awesome since she could have reacted differently since we were not guest at the hotel. While we waited Vonda and her co-worker were constantly cleaning and sanitizing the lobby and surrounding areas the whole time. Although, we always stay at a different chain of hotel, the cleanliness of the hotel , the professionalism, and the willingness of Vonda to go the extra mile for me was greatly appreciated and will definitely make me consider staying at a Sleep Inn in the future. To the management: Vonda is definitely to be commended. As business owners ourselves, we know all to well that great, professional help is hard to find.

First let me start by complimenting the staff. Customer service was excellent and friendly. Also we were provided bottles of water whenever we needed them. Unfortunately it goes down hill from here. I booked this weekend girls trip based on staying at an Aloft in another city and was excited about our stay until we stepped foot in the door. First thing we noticed after a very hot walk with our luggage from the train station is that there is NO AC in the common areas. Temps outside are ranging from 90-110 degrees! They had a fan blowing on the hotel receptionist-if I was an employee there, I would not stay. Come to find out it hasn't been fixed in over a year! WHAT???? are you kidding me? Part of the draw to hotels is being able to hang out in the commons areas, play some games, lounge on the couches and enjoy a breakfast without sweating in it. So we had to stay in our room if we wanted to cool off between sight seeing. Second- we were very excited we could hang out in the pool since inside the hotel was not refreshing. I am no pool expert but I don't think pool water should be cloudy. I have a feeling that there is little to no maintenance done. To me, pool water should be clear and PH properly monitored and kept up. I didn't have a water testing kit but it was not inviting to swim in-very disappointing. (there was a guy picking up trash around the pool in the mornings so I guess that was something) Third- Furniture, rugs and other items in the common areas, around the pool and in the hotel room we stayed in were dirty, stained and worn. The sticker decorations in the elevators were tattered in places and just cheap looking. Fourth-hotel room itself. Sink and counter were cracked. Water pressure was barely enough to rinse shampoo from hair and the lighting was so dark in the shower you could barely see. Tile looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. Beds were comfortable enough but you really ought to provide more than one chair in a room with 2 double beds. Air conditioner worked fine but smelled a bit musty.

The hotel should be three and a half stars. It's quite new. Although the restaurant is open during the epidemic prevention period, it feels very heartwarming; and the food is fresh, but the price is not expensive. It is rare during the epidemic.

I would stay here every time I come to Oklahoma City for a job if the government can reimburse it. It is ideally located a few blocks from the downtown Bricktown community. I also love the relatively quiet environment and it is in the heart of the Bricodon community. Their new decoration perfectly combines historical aesthetics with modern technology. No matter what you order, the restaurant never disappoints you, and room service. The bar is always lively and there are plenty of good cocktails to choose from. I set a standard room so there is no refrigerator and microwave inside. I also don’t like to put these in the room. If you want a refrigerator and microwave, ask in advance. The pillows are very soft, and if you want something to use for the backrest, you may have to ask for it or carry it yourself.

Not quite so expensive as the other nice places in bricktown. Definitely a lesson in making sure that you double check a few things before staying. Clean and spacious lobby. Main desk staff was friendly and got us checked in quickly. Whole place was clean. Room easy to find. The room and the lobby and the whole hotel has a classy, ultra modern feel. Think IKEA for the expensive gin crowd. At the end of a long day, when we wanted to easily check in and relax, this place was a little precious. The only hotel parking was valet parking. The pay parking lot across the street was $40 per day. Not the $10 that the hotel web site listed. We had to park 2 blocks away in an unattended surface lot. I hope we still have our catalytic converter this morning. Getting settled in our room was a trick. The walls were dark colored, the floor dark colored, and the light switches were tough to find. When we did find them, they only controlled the indirect under-bench lighting. So we stumbled through the room in the mostly dark, looking for switches. We found them… subtle little rocker switches on the wall lights. Once we got that sorted, we were comfortable. The room was clean, efficiently laid out, and comfortable. Plumbing worked and heater worked, and the fit and finish was a step nicer than the usual slapdash hotel interior construction. Wifi was a pain in the rear. All of our devices had trouble getting to the login page. I called the desk and they advised restarting my device or “turning off my firewall”. Uh, no, I’m not going to turn off my firewall on an open wifi. And my phone and tablet don’t have firewalls that you can turn off. I tried rebooting all of our devices a couple of times with no result. Then, without changing anything on our end, the login screen appeared and all devices connected. I’ve seen this before, and it typically involves the _hotel_ rebooting the router. It was working, so we moved on with our lives. Good thing I didn’t need the connection for work. Breakfast is not free, and we were surprised because we could have sworn that we searched for that specifically on TripAdvisor. Oh, well. There’s a hotel kitchen and a few places in bricktown to get breakfast. Lucky for us, we weren’t in a hurry to get up and out and on the road. The shower head can be set very high. I’m 6’ 4”. I appreciated that. All in all, you’re paying for upscale-ish look and feel here, not the amenities. The look and feel really is nicer than usual, though really not my taste. If you like dark browns and lots of glass and don’t mind paying for extras, this place might suit you. If you like simplicity and convenience, look elsewhere.
