First off, this is a gorgeous hotel that appears to be almost brand new. Beautifully decorated. The beds are comfy. They have an airport shuttle, which is nice. The negatives are that the reception staff is rather snotty, and the shower does not get hot. I woke up in a lot of pain in my lower back and was looking forward to a nice hot shower and I could not get the water above lukewarm. This is very frustrating. Also I t’s nice that they have a Keurig coffee maker in the room. However, we did not have enough cream and sugar. I called down in the morning asked if someone could run a few up. I was told in a rather snarky tone, “we don’t have room service, you’ll have to come down and get it”. Seriously,?!? Housekeeping, who’s out in the hallways servicing rooms couldn’t run a couple of creamers over to my room? I wasn’t dressed and ready to go out in public to get a couple of creamers. It was tone more than anything. I can understand if you’re shorthanded and don’t have enough people but just the whole vibe wasn’t very friendly.
All in all I wouldn’t stay again unless I had absolutely no other choice. It’s too bad because like I said, it’s a beautiful place. But work on your customer service and definitely get your hot water fixed.
