It was a good experience staying here. I felt they had everything we needed to make our trip great. The provisions in the kitchenette was very much appreciated. The breakfast was really good and the complimentary water and snacks bag was a nice touch. One area that was a little disconcerting was that the walls felt very thin because we could hear loud cars overnight and were woken up multiple times by other guests opening and closing their doors. Ofcourse this is something that may not be easily changed but is worth knowing if you’re a light sleeper.

Rooms were comfortable. The Reception Staff were very friendly. Shampoo and Body Lotion containers were empty. Dishwasher did not work. Breakfast items were not refurbished regularly. At one point there were just two bagels, one donut, waffle batter and cereal available. The dining area was full, not enough food for those present.

They could not find my reservation but once we got to the hotel. Andy was helpful enough to fix it for us and get a room. However checking out was also a nightmare. Room was supposed to be prepaid for but was advised got declined for taxes. But was supposed to be prepaid. This is the only time I’ve had an issue with both checking in and checking out.

The suite I stayed in had some issues. The towels were dirty with stains, so I couldn't use them. The couch in the suite had a horrible smell and stains too. One suggestion I have is to add moveable shower heads because I didn't realize it didn't have one before I booked. Also, it would be great if there was at least one bottle of water in the fridge for tired travelers like me who need a drink upon arrival, even if there's a charge for it. On the bright side, I absolutely loved the beautiful rooftop pool. It was so relaxing. The staff were nice and I appreciated that they had almost everything you need in case you forget something.

This hotel does not have free on-site parking but they do offer valet parking at $32 per night.
I found my own parking because, in my opinion, that’s a ridiculous price.
After I checked out, I received a receipt via email with charges for valet parking. I can only assume they do this by default because, let me make this very clear, my vehicle was never on their property.
After calling the hotel, this was corrected.
I’ve always been a fan of the Home2 hotels but I will not stay at this location again and would not recommend it.

Excellent place to stay and convenient to the Amway Center which we were able to walk to for a concert. Breakfast was also very good.
