I checked in at 7:30pm, office staff was not helpful, didn't even turn on the office lights. Room was old, smelled and needed paint and repair, pulled back covers on bed #1 , it had long black hairs, bed #2 has many small hairs in bed and on the pillow. Went back to reception and asked for another room because beds were not clean. I was given another room across from the vending machines, the room door was open, this room also smelled musty and needed repair, pulled back covers on Bed #1 and it had sand and dirt in it, Bed# 2 had hairs and some questionable stains..gross . Went back to reception, explained what I found and asked for another room. Desk clerk gave me another room on the second floor across from the elevator shaft. This room also smelled bad, needed paint and repair, I inspected the beds and they appeared to be clean. Clerk never apologized, never acknowledged any problem existed , actually only spoke a few words during our 3 interactions. The so called Breakfast, is a small muffin and a couple of bananas. I realize that this is a 2 star hotel, (******* rated it 6.9??) but I expect the rooms to be clean and the bed linens washed after use, not just remade after the last guest. The room pictures they post are not the 3 rooms that I was in. As well, it seemed that I was given rooms in worse locations that the first. Seemed like a consequence for requesting another room. Pool area was large, well appointed and clean.
