Palazzo Petrvs

This hotel has been around for a while. Very beautiful. The hotel is very new, opened just last October. The service is very good, every staff is very enthusiastic. The hotel facilities are also very good. The hair dryer is a Dyson (rare in Europe), and the price is affordable. The breakfast is very big, with a lot of pastry. I really hope to come again. I originally wanted to book a suite, but I thought it was unnecessary for one person. Later I drove to see the suite and it was very worthwhile. I recommend it!
Hotel Corso

Hotel Corso is a small and lovely hotel in the perfect middle of the main ”corso” of the ancient medieval village of Orvieto. So it is perfect to visit the town which is marvelous! The staff is superkind and helping, the breakfast is of a good quality, the rooms are small but comfortable. As a plus, Hotel Corso has a parking and this is truly precious when in an ancient town. Last, but not least, the price of the room is convenient. A very nice stay.
Altarocca Wine Resort Adults Only

Very charming resort with a variety of services. We loved the couple massages we booked. Also, the breakfast is very good. We enjoyed the pool facilities and the whole ambience of the resort. Keep in mind that the location is a 10 minute drive from the city of Orvieto. The front desk was very helpful in organising our taxi ride. On our last visit 2 years ago, we booked a wonderful on-sight wine tasting experience. Be sure to buy a couple of olive oil bottles. The olive oil is super tasty and makes for a great gift to take back to your friends and family as a souvenir.

It's hard reviewing a $60/night place. I had low expectations (although some of the reviews suggested something more) at that level but was looking for inexpensive spot because I was traveling solo and wasn't going to spend anytime in the room other than to sleep. Adequate for that purpose. Clean. And friendly. Rosana went out of her way to explain the town and was quite helpful. Note that it is located in a triangle between two streets, so you can get some traffic noise although not too much traffic at night, and nothing a white noise app can't handle. I had higher hopes for breakfast but it was very basic, with the hostess serving a piece of breakfast sweet tart, a slice or two of bread, cheese and ham, softboiled egg and a small thing of yogurt. And coffee to order. I left hungry. Perhaps I should've asked for more but nothing was offered, and I didnt want to be pushy.

We stayed two nights at the hotel. Excellent accommodations. They parked our car. They served a wonderful breakfast. I got up early (4:30 a.m.) both mornings to do some work and was able to get a cappuccino. Very gracious hosts. As far as location is concerned, the hotel is not far some Pizza della Republica and the Corso and via del Duomo. We saw everything we wanted to in Orvieto and also saw Civita di Bagnoregio.. Easy access by car, easy exit. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.
Hotel Duomo

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night in between Rome and Florence, so that we could visit Orvieto, in addition to Sacro Bosco and Civita di Bagnoregio on the way. The room was fairly standard but nice for the price: clean, a large, comfortable bed, and a modern, artsy decor. Our corner room had two windows, which was nice. It was very quiet at night. The location is excellent. It's very close to the Duomo and to other points of interest in Orvieto. Mind you, the Centro Historico of Orvieto is not very big, so this is pretty much a given. The nightly rate for our double room included breakfast, and the breakfast was good. The wifi worked well. The staff is friendly and helpful. Check in/check out were easy. One thing I didn't like was the charge for coffee and tea in the room. We didn't have any, but we are accustomed to these beverages being provided with no additional charge.
