DO NOT PRE BOOK WATERSKING!! We holidayed here in Oct 2023 and again in May 2024. The waterski boat was broken on both occasions. This is clearly a well known long term issue that Mark Warner don't care to fix. In Oct and May the boat was taken out of the water and typically this was for few flat calm days of the holiday. Unbeknownst to staff, I was stood next to them when they were laughing about the fact my husband had gone down to the water early one morning ready for a ski, only to find the boat not working again. For info, we cycled to the Neilson resort and saw a brand new boat, with two staff in the boat and people continuously skiing. Even a member of waterfront staff asked me to write this review! As for Mark Warner, They refuse to refund our pre-payment and had the nerve to suggest that the boat sat in the carpark was a different boat and that we guests are mistaken!! Shame on you as a company for being so arrogant and rude! The hotel is brilliant, very well thought out, easy to get around and safe with children. The Greek Staff are wonderful and attentive. The majority of seasonal staff are decent and helpful.

A simply gorgeous resort. We have just returned from a week with “ our adult children and the grandchildren” and then a week on our own. The rooms are modern and neat and the bathrooms are spacious and modern . The beach and pool bars are both comfortable and “nice” places to be. The swimming pools are immaculately clean and the grounds are tidy and colourful. The staff have the MW joie de vivre and are all helpful and focused on their roles. The food wasn’t haute cuisine but was definitely tasty and well presented. We will definitely return!

Great resort and a fantastic team looking after everyone. Our room was perfect; lots of wardrobe space etc, small balcony, tea and coffee making facilities, and spotlessly cleaned everyday, thanks to Tina who was wonderful. The catering was also splendid, with an extensive range of options to choose from each day for breakfast and dinner. And the restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient. I particularly remember George and Nicos, but all their colleagues were welcoming. A great team too on the beach, topped off with perfect weather for me to take a Fusion out sailing everyday. All in all, a very well run resort. Well done the management team. We would love to return some time in the future.

We’ve just returned from a fabulous week at Mark Warner Paleros. It’s the first time we’ve been to a MW and will definitely be back. Accommodation was of a good standard and cleaned beautifully daily. Food was varied, we aren’t dessert people but the pastry chef clearly accomplished. Plenty of sunbeds whenever you went to the pools. The local village (10 mins by bike) was stunning, a traditional unspoilt Greek village, go to the Yacht club. The only feedback we gave directly to MW was that the “local band” were dreadful and not fitting with the MW brand. Other guests were so friendly. We are very sorry to be home and will go back.

We've been many times to different locations, this one is top quality in a great location. Short airport transfer and walkable to small town which has supermarkets, pharmacy etc. Its not a fine sandy beach, but it's there for the waterfront . The sea bed is pebbles, we took sandals to wear in the sea. It's great that the sea here is calm and shallow a long way out. Pools are all one depth, little too deep for petite me to stand comfortably. All facilities are what you expect from MW. Staff were helpful and energetic, even at the end of the season having survived peak. Local Greek staff were so sweet and attentive. Netflix in rooms which was handy when it rained. Bar staff kindly gave us milk and ice for our room. Highly recommend and would go again. Top tip is to book last minute for great prices.

Lovely pool, rooms are great with Netflix and YouTube Automatically on the TV. Great beach however only downside is the sea is very shallow and rocky. Staff are great and the activities are brilliant. Tennis courts are good however the football pitch (which is a cross with a tennis court) is often occupied by people playing tennis so you can’t play football. Water skiing is brilliant with proper coaching. Food is okay, breakfast is very nice but dinner is mediocre. The nearby village is a quick cycle or 30 min walk and has lots of great tavernas. Great hotel!

So having experienced Mark Warner for the fist time on this holiday we decided the concept defintely suited us as a family. We went as a couple with our 14 year old son. Son made extensive use of the water sports, learning to scuba dive and water ski, husband did introduction to sailing, and all of us used the exercise classes. Special shout out to Roz and Natalia for their great classes, and Natalia's early morning walks! We found all the equipment to be of a good standard, but the booking of watersports could be frustrating at times. Even if you are there at 9am you may not get a slot for the next day! The adult pool is lovely and was pretty quiet when we were there, beach has plenty of sunbeds and again was fairly quiet. It is very rocky (and a bit ouchey!) getting into the sea, I recommend waterproof shoes. Accomdation was lovely, room cleaning of a very high standard, the resort is clean, tidy and well kept. The bars are fine, the pool bar often understaffed though, the beach bar is better staffed. All local staff are great and work very hard. The restaurant is good, breakfast is fantastic with so many choices, dinner has lots of choices but somehow felt very "samey" the second week. The taverna for lunch is hit and miss, food is ok but service can be slow and a bit haphazard. It's worth getting baguettes from the bars instead (cheap and filling), or cycle to the village for lunch (10 minute ride). On the subject of the village, we recommend Dionysus, food, wine and service absolutely excellent! Get a taxi there in the evening and walk back, there's a coastal road which is flat and easy, it will take you about 30 minutes. Our teen wants me to say that he found the Indy club boring, they just seemed to play water polo in the morning then that was it. Surely it could be better than that? Perhaps it was because school holidays had not got into full swing. Things that could be better 1. jugs of free water with dinner or lunch on the table, dont make people buy plastic bottles of water, it's terrible for the environment but also a bit mean. Also perhaps give (or sell cheaply) a Mark Warner resuable water bottle to everyone on arrival. 2. If watersports are under pressure, don't let people book too many slots, resrict them to one. On the whole, a great holiday, would defintely consider doing MW again.

Resort has top quality rooms and public areas. Food is excellent. Greek staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming. Beach staff are always happy to help, they are outstanding. The manager Natasha is visible, receptive and on top of everything - an absolute star. The site is attractive and easy to get around. Childcare from Rosie has been fantastic. The bikes need replacing as not maintained well. Of all our mark warner and neilson holidays this has been the best.

We've done Mark Warner holidays for more than ten years. We stayed at Paleros last year and it was great. Perfect. That's why we went again this year. The first 48 hours were idyllic. Perfect. We booked for windsurfing, got stuck into evening entertainment and felt like we'd never left. The food was beautiful. The rooms were clean - but you could tell that they'd been well used over the last few years. The Greek staff were friendly and made conversation. It was just lovely. It was also reassuring to see Natasha in place as the manager. However this year, we learnt that this resort is not solely Mark Warner. We thought it was. A coach of additional folk appeared at 10.30pm on our second night, from a Swedish tour operator. Their hotel wasn't ready and they were 'homeless'. This made for a different type of holiday to that which we are used to with MW. They smoked, had babies in the pool without nappies and were repeatedly aggressive with the Greek staff because they had to pay for breakfast and dinner. The MW staff didn't know it was happening. They couldn't do anything to help. For the first time at Paleros, we felt that we needed to put towels out at 8am, to secure the places we wanted to have at the pool. That was quite different for us - not really our kind of thing. We spoke with other MW guests and they too felt it was a very different vibe. A couple of things to note: - If you book the snorkelling safari - where you go on a boat and visit other islands to snorkel, you'll need your water friendly shoes - crocs etc - because there are stony beaches and they're slippery. You'll also want to take your own flippers as they aren't provided. Please insist on taking a life jacket from the beachfront. We assumed they'd be provided and they were not. We only realised this when we asked and were told they weren't available. We gave feedback on this when we got back to resort. The water team passed us on very quickly to the padi dive rep - but he wasn't interested. He said that it's perfectly safe and they only take strong swimmers. This just isn't true. We had a 7 year old on the boat who clearly needed a life jacket and no one asked us about our swimming abilities. - If you're going to buy photographs, please buy them before your last night and insist that they are emailed over before you leave. We bought photos last year and did this, and all worked fine. This year, we have bought photos and they've not been sent over despite emails to follow up. We have the receipt and are getting nowhere which is deeply frustrating. MW will of course reply and say that they are third party suppliers outside of their control. Whilst that is true, it's unfortunate because it takes the shine off the holiday. So. All in all, the Mark Warner side of the experience was great as usual. However, we didn't feel as relaxed as we have previously. And we don't know if we'll book there again, now we know it's not just a MW resort. We couldn't give this a 4 star r
