Major issues with check-in as the room cards issued did not work. After a flight and travel activities, i just want to relax. Not to be as I had to walk from the furthest part of the hotel back to the desk, I wasn't impressed, to say the least. After being questioned about what i had tried to get in, it was a touch card lock for heaven’s sake! I was issued two new keys. Didn’t work a second time after my long hike back. Fortunately the manager was shortly behind me to make sure I could get in. Her card worked perfectly. Maintenance had to reprogram the lock. For my trouble and frustration, the front desk offered what looked like two free appetizer coupons to the attached restaurant. No, it required me to buy an entree to get the appetizer. Gee, thanks. I gave the hotel just an average rating as it just wasn't as crisp and nice as similar courtyard stays I’ve had recently. It was a bit worn and as a guest, I felt the whole experience was just ok. Might try other nearby properties next time.
