Radisson Panama City Beach - Oceanfront

so wonderful place to stay!! All room is an ocean view, and it was so nice to enjoy the scenery of every moment there!!

We stayed in the penthouse, the room appeared nice and very spacious. With that being said, using the elevator to get to the penthouse is a nigh**are. The code works about 20% of the time, and you end up stopping on multiple floors until it finally takes you up. We will not stay in the penthouse again for this reason. One night the elevators were acting up and it took us 45 minutes to get up to our room. We got trapped in the elevator multiple times and had to walk around the entire building during that time. Had our hands not been full, we would’ve take the 13 levels of stairs up. In addition to this, we requested our room to be turned over, which didn’t happen, and then we were told they would bring towels up, which also didn’t happen. Our room included a full kitchen, but you have to request cook utensils from the front desk. Which meant another trip on the elevator that didn’t want to work. I also had to request bedding for the pull out sofa which is usually just in the room. Overall, we would never book the penthouse again, but maybe never back to the hotel.

We stayed for one night at the property to attend an event down the beach from the hotel. The hotel entryway is nearly impossible to navigate. The small lot at the hotel was packed and the way it is laid out leaves no room to park and check in. We finally managed to get into the hotel just to be told that our room was not ready yet and it would be around an hour before we could get in. I had to make some calls and find another place that we could get ready for our event. The way the hotel tried to make it up to us was to offer free drinks at the bar next door, even though we told them we have to leave for an event and we wouldn't even be able to use them. We returned back to the hotel later that night to finally check in only to find out that they swapped our room to another. I reserved a king room with a check in at 4pm and check out at 11am. We didn't get access to the room, they changed our room to one with a queen bed, and scratched out 11am check out on our paperwork and changed it to 10am. I would highly recommend going farther down the beach. For the rate we paid, we could've had a much better experience anywhere else. The pictures of the hotel definitely make it appear far better than it really is. There were several things wrong in the room and I personally would not stay here again if it were free.

We were never informed at check-in that housekeeping only came every 3 days. On day 3, they never showed up. After I complained,they showed on day 4, and was finally resolved, but housekeeping was every other day,which is fine, just keep us in the loop. Furniture and some appliances were very dated (microwave manuf 2002), but it did work. Staff was friendly. This is not a fancy place, but you cannot beat the OCEAN VIEW and the Sunsets!

The only thing I didn't like about this property was the parking. Me and my family stayed in the penthouse and all in all it was a pretty good stay.

ANTS! and we were on the eleventh floor. I can't imagine how bad they could have been on the floors below. Ice machine(s) Broken. Numerous maintenance issues especially with the elevators. Place seems run down.

Unfortunately storm came through. I had a room with a 1 1/2 gap btwn the door and floor and on the side up to the doorknob. Felt like I left a window open.. had the heat on the whole time because of this. Fire stick wouldn’t work on tv and cable options were horrible. Asked and never received a balcony light to maybe go out on early morning before sun rose. Jet tub was 👍 and the staff I personally interacted with was 👍

Check-in is at 4 PM and check out was 11AM, so not even 24 hrs. The building itself was a bit old, but the area around it was very beautiful. The pool was not clean at all, The beach was clean. The staff was professional, but they didn’t actually care about a lot of stuff. No one came to change the towels or to clean the room, I will do it again because the room was amazing and the view was amazing. They didn’t provide breakfast. No one informed me on breakfast, even though it was advertised on online when I reserved the room with breakfast included.

The property is in need of a major overhaul. The first time they put us in smelled like dead fish.
