Ibis Lugano Paradiso Reviews

It's a good hotel for families to stay in, and it's close to Paradiso Station and convenient to Lugano buses, so it's an overall good hotel.

excellent location, easily walkable to the town centre along the lake side. Room was clean and comfortable, and parking simple and straightforward.

Great bar, breakfast and room with good location

Very bad hygiene! When people change rooms, they only change the toalsand the sheets if they aren’t very dirty. Told by the cleaning lady! After that they charge you cleaning fees for sheets,pillows and other stuff if they are dirty. Very little rooms where you are allways earing the noise from pipes. Better pay a little bit more and have something with a little bit of hygiene.

The hotel is well located near both the public transportation system and the beautiful lack of Lugano. You can get the city center on foot easily. The staffs are truly friendly and wish to help. The Wi-Fi is truly fast and accessible just after check in.

The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area and is close to the cable car station and bus stops with easy access to Lugano city centre by bus or on foot. Room is of reasonable size and clean. Good air-conditioning which is particularly important during the hot summer this year. But the pillows are too soft for me. Staff could have been a bit more welcoming and considerate/flexible.

The hotel is well located for easy access to Lugano and the lakeside. The rooms were clean, reception had been smartened up since our last visit but the big plus is the excellent breakfast - plentiful supplies with a wide choice. All the staff we encountered were helpful. The only downside was that there didn’t appear to be a three person room which, since we stayed three nights would have been a big help.

I enjoyed my stay at ibis Lugano Paradiso, however the breakfast selection was rather mediocre but in line with the ibis standard. I found that the hotel rates in Lugano dropped quite a bit in the couple days before my arrival but decided to keep my reservation at the ibis Lugano Paradiso due to it’s ideal location. However, given how accessible all of Lugano is, if I were to return I would consider staying elsewhere in the interest of value for money.

The hotel is very basic. I stayed for two nights and liked that the area is very quiet so I got a good nights sleep there. The room is very basic and only has one single plug far away from everything - so not possible to have your cell phone charging by your bed - also, not even possible to borrow an extension cord from the reception, which would have made my stay here more enjoyable. The breakfast is nothing special: only Apples and kiwis for fruit selection. Wished there would be other vegan options. Or at least a larger selection of fruits. The staff was friendly. Liked the location and the walk to Lugano.

Hotel staff is friendly, at reception and breakfast. Room is spacious enough for a short stay. "Plastic bathroom" ist noisy. Price is rather high compared to other Ibis city hotels, also parking fee CHF 20 for 1 night.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, and very well located with a convenient bus stop nearby and nor far from the main train station. Recommended.
