Had really high expectations for this place. Really raved about on social media and we were excited to visit Greece for the first time. My first point is important for those travelling with children……There are no lifeguards at the pool, and whilst i understand you are responsible for supervising your children, it would have been comforting knowing that a lifeguard was present. Not a lot of people know life saving skills. That being said, we closely supervised the 4 year old with us. ROOMS Safe in room Shower /wet room Rooms clean and tidy Tea and coffee in rooms Blackout blinds Air con Balcony Toiletries TV - basic TV guide Decent wardrobe space Listing stated mini bar service in room for additional cost. Was not even offered this. Onsite shop - very expensive and there is nowhere else to shop so you have little choice Check in was quick and staff very helpful when taking your luggage to rooms. There are a lot of slopes here, which can be very physically challenging. Luckily there is a train which runs around the resort during the day. However it was out of action on our last 3 days. The hotel staff use golf carts to help you around which is great given the number of slopes here. As per, having to get up at the crack of dawn if you had any chance of getting sunbeds. Frustrating to see beds reserved and empty for most of day. On our last day, notes were attached to beds stating that items would be removed if unoccupied. This never happened. Sadly, the food was repetitive, same things every day. We were not at all impressed by the foods available. The queues for the restaurant and drinks are long! This was frustrating particularly as we were travelling with a 4 year old! Snacks and lunches were the same everyday. Pizza, pasta, chips with the usual salads. Any meats were very dry. Asian night was decent food and we managed to eat a decent meal. On several occasions, staff did not replenish food quickly enough. One evening the queues were so long we had to sit separately to accommodate our group of 6. If you wish to sit outdoors to eat, you end up on cheap folding chairs which really lets the place down. One evening the queue was so long we went and had a drink and came back. When we came back the childrens buffet was closed. I felt that there was less choice when dining later in the evening. The self serve drink stations were brilliant and was a relief that you didnt have to queue for a drink with your meal. Hotel staff in general seemed really miserable. I always felt rushed when ordering drinks. The entertainment staff were great though! Rooms were okay, but given the cost of this place my expectations were much higher. The guy who swaps towels was very agressive on one of the days where it rained. He was shouting out that people had let towels get wet. He then ignored the queue of people wanting to swap towels. I walked to reception to get clean towels and was told to go to the man at the pool. I explained wh
