Staff were really friendly. Got a free upgrade. However location is not that safe.

The place is very clean and close to many metro lines! Easy to move about.

The hotel staff is very polite and attentive. The rooms are clean, the bathroom has new fixtures, everything shines. Good tea and coffee are provided in the room. Breakfast for a 4* hotel is very good.

It gave me the impression of a pension-style hotel in an ancient capital. It's clean and has a calm atmosphere that feels like your own apartment.

Le Grand Quartier Latin was a superb hotel. Everybody was warm, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are new, clean, and functional.

Staff are super friendly, location is great. Very walkable to metro, bakery and restaurants. We had the Terrace suite and it is very spacious with a good size outdoor terrace. The hotel has good on site amenities with a restaurant, work space and a small fitness area. A few notes: The hotel room runs on the warm side, we were told that they typically set their thermostat at 24c during summer season and 27c during winter. There might be some communication error on this. The sofa bed was not a queen size as advertised. It was a double. Also, there is no hot water the morning we have to depart. Considered everything, I will still go back to this hotel and the general experience was great!

We had a great stay, staff were excellent as were the facilities. Breakfast was terrific with plenty of options. Would highly recommend.

Nice, big and clean room! Very comfortable bed, nice outdoor spaces in the courtyard and 4th floor to relax in. The fitness center has a couple of treadmills, bike and elliptical. Wish it had wifi and a section for floor exercises though! Overall would stay here again.

This is an up and coming property in a gentrifying area of Paris where many social classes mix. It’s not the stuck up posh and uptight neighborhoods. The property itself is new and/or renovated, the rooms are well designed and the bathroom is convenient. I found it disappointing that the restaurant and cafe were not welcoming at all. Breakfast is super well managed and food is tasty there, but dinner is nonexistent and there doesn’t even seem to be a willingness to serve. My budget is more or less unlimited so I would have enjoyed dining. I could see many guests checking it out and deciding to eat outside. Really a pity. I am also not sure why housekeeping didn’t clean my room in 4 days.

We were upgraded to a suite since they were out of the kings. Very nice and clean. Spacious also. They also kept our luggage when we traveled and came back to re check in. The next two night the air conditioning was not working and the rooms were hot. The thermostat is locked. Other than that, clean hotel. Walkable area and convenient location. Would stay there again.

Convenient for access to Gar de Est and Gar de Nord train stations. However the areas surrounding the hotel and near the train stations were dirty. After dark these areas felt unsafe, but we had no encounters, just ab uneasy feeling walking through then. We liked the eco-friendliness but the dark hallways may be a little too far. The light timers don’t give enough time to get into room before they turn off, leaving you in the dark.

The property is in good condition. The room we had was spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Hallway can definitely use more light. The surrounding has lots of eating places and we are questioning the safety but it seemed fine .
