Hotels near Theatre des Champs-Elysees in Paris

The premium quadruple room is newly renovated and had huge comfortable bathroom with bath tub and separate shower room and wc. The quadruple room had a king bed and a queen sofa bed. When the sofa bed is opened there's no room to walk. The main lift broke down one the day we checked out. Luckily there are other smaller lifts nearby. Breakfast was very good with sausages bacan boiled eggs and many types of pastries, cereal, milk, juices and coffee. Very convenient location.

The location is unbeatable as far as distance from many historic attractions. For the price of the room ($700) it is quite expensive as the room is simple, as are the amenities. Most of the hotel staff were friendly. Check in and check out went smoothly. When I went to ask about a power adapter, the person I spoke to was short and rude with me. My partner is French and everyone was more friendly with him and willing to help.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. It is a pleasure to be in a beautiful hotel at the doors of Paris, with a very good quality / price ratio. The reception was more than warm, the staff is very helpful and polite. We just returned from a fabulous stay at the Peninsula Paris and our time there was so special that I feel compelled to write this review. This is a top-notch hotel that goes above and beyond to make your trip unforgettable. Let's start with the staff - Rana at the front desk, Nicholas and Paul at the concierge, Jose at the valet, Volica in housekeeping, and Imran as the greeter (to name a few, but certainly not all) - are the kindest, most helpful and amazing people I have ever come across. They not only made our return there so good, but they also left an impression on our 7 year twins that they soon won't forget. The concierge was able to get us coveted reservations at some of Paris's hottest restaurants and boutiques. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The food was unreal - the daily pastry basket at breakfast, the dumplings at Lili and the chocolate - are all a must!! Me and my husband have traveled a lot, stayed at many fine resorts, and this is truly at the top!

Beautifully designed hotel, they made good use of the space and in the rooms the finishings are super high end. Pillow was great one night and then the next I swear they changed my pillow. Room service is VERY SLOW - they will tell you they are coming but they do not. Staff are generally ok - one very typically rude person at reception, rolled her eyes a few times and was quite unhelpful Had a room without breakfast (Pauls and Laduree are up the road so there is no need to have it in the hotel) You can find street parking easily if needed. We had a kitchenette in our room - which was super useful It's a brilliant location for Champs Elysee shopping and for the George V metro line which takes you into the more central parts. There is no lobby / lounge as such so its worth getting a room where you can relax a bit. We had a deluxe room on the 1st floor

Hotel service is very good is the price 8k+ also told me to upgrade the room The triple room turned out to be an extra bed, I thought I entered the wrong room. . . This price is really. . . . However, the surroundings are very close, and the decoration is still good.

The beds were uncomfortable, and there was a terrible smell coming from the washroom BUT with that being said the room was large for the location in a major city. The staff was friendly and the breakfast a fantastic price. We picked this hotel for it's location and it did not disappoint. 10min walk to Trocadero and 6min to the Arc de Triumph. We would stay again!

The hotel's entrance is not obvious, but the location is very good, very close to the Louvre, Lafayette is not far away, go out to the shopping street, there are Giorgio Ar***i, Louis Vitton, Chloe, Celine and so on. The hotel bathroom and bathing area are separate and the facilities are modern. Some rooms can accommodate an extra bed. Breakfast is Western food, good quality, if you can have a little Chinese food, after all, there are quite a lot of Chinese people. Wenhua's service is as good as ever. Going to Paris later is still the first choice.

Environment: The room is very spacious and the location is five minutes walk from Galeries Lafayette. Service: The little brother at the front desk is too handsome, very French and very caring and old and we wink. The security at the door is also very good. Recently, the French riots will remind us not to run around at night and tell us which areas can't go. Facilities: The hotel's restaurant food is also delicious!
