GGuest UserThis place has hands down been the most memorable stay we have ever had! As a couple traveling for the first time in China, Yukong, his family, and friends gave us a feeling of home and took care of us in a way we never experienced from a homestay.
The house itself is build by Yukong's grandparents 70 years ago, and is placed in the middle of a Kiwi farm on the mountains outside Leye city. We shared great meals together every night in front of the fireplace with the boiling soup bowl at the center. Friends and family of the house even cared for bringing all sorts of classical Chinese instruments to the house to play traditional folk music for us - something we will never forget! Together we sang karaoke, drank rice wine, laughed and had great talks, despite of the language barrier. One could tell that our well being mattered to all of them, and that they wanted us to experience and understand their culture.
Yukong and his brother even joined us for a hike in the nearby geopark and helped us with litterarly everything regarding planning and activities (which was so helpful, as none of us speaks Chinese). They took so much time off their hands to help us getting around and showed us the most wonderful local tourist attractions and great places to eat. The area has a lot to offer, and we were amazed that we seemed to have it all to ourselves.
If you are in Guangxi, or anywhere else in China, for that matter, do yourself a favor and book a stay here. It is something you will remember for a long time. The nature, the culture, and especially the family you are gonna stay with, are wonderful.
GGuest UserThis hotel is generally quite satisfactory. It is a simple-style ordinary hotel. It is medium-to-high in the Leye Street hotels. The room was very clean and the space was spacious. It was intimately equipped with rubber slippers for bathing. Don't be afraid of taking a shower. The small shortcoming is that there is no hanger for hanging the hat, and the hat can be put in the closet. The breakfast tasted good, and I accidentally could eat white fungus dumplings, which was a plus; the fly in the ointment was that the bowl of boiled rice noodles was too wide. After the soup was served, it was easy to spill it. It was not convenient to use it.
AAnonymous UserReally satisfied with this stay! The room was cleaned very clean, the details were done in place, and the living was safe and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and respond quickly to needs, which makes people feel very intimate. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is quiet and not noisy, and the rest is very good. I recommend it to everyone ~
GGuest UserThe room is large, the facilities are complete, and the car is convenient. Not far from the commercial street, the food is convenient. Health needs to be strengthened, and cockroaches and bugs are found in the room. Claimed a smart hotel, but did not introduce smart devices.
GGuest UserThe facilities and hygiene are very average, and the environment is even more average, especially from 2 to 4 in the morning when the whole floor is partying, which made me unable to sleep all night. If I go to Leye again, I will not go to this hotel.
