GGuest UserUpon check-in, we received a complimentary personalized welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The service overall was excellent, the room was spacious and quite clean. As it's a Marriott property, I was able to earn Marriott points, making for a very satisfying stay. The burger on the hotel's menu was also delicious. Overall, a great experience!

The lobby and check-in process are quite good, the welcome drink is refreshing, and the concierge helpfully carried the luggage. Basement parking is also relatively easy.
Unfortunately, many important details reduce comfort. The door of the room does not have a stopper so it is often slammed loud and noisy. Soundproofing was not good, the sound from the next room was still heard. The room size is relatively small for the standard 5-star, and there is no minibar at all, even a paid one. For mineral water, use plastic bottles, not the premium ones with glass bottles. The lighting system was confusing and the bathroom lighting was too dim.
There are 4 elevators but it is very slow.. there is often a buildup of guests.
The pool area is also less well-organized such as having no concept and not weather-friendly because there is no shaded area. It's ridiculous, having to pay an extra 200rb for access to the whirlpool and jacuzzi.
Breakfast was a disappointment: the menu options were less varied, the taste was standard, and the service was less warm (officers lacked smiles).
Overall, I wouldn't really mind these things if the room price wasn't this muc, but with a rate above Rp 2 million per night, this experience is less worth it. Compared to 5-star hotels in Jogja and its surroundings, it is still quite far behind.

JJosa LamMy stay at the Aston Solo Hotel was comfortable but left me wanting a bit more. The location is great, situated close to key attractions and local eateries, which made exploring the area easy.
The staff were welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries. However, the rooms felt somewhat outdated; while they were clean, the furnishings and decor could use a modern touch. The bathroom was functional but lacked the amenities I expected.
Breakfast was decent but didn’t offer much variety, and the Wi-Fi was often slow. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a budget stay, but I hope to see some updates in the future to enhance the experience.

WWandering WillowPerfectly located hotel in the central of Solo attractions with very affordable price. Very close to Batik museum, Sriwedari Park, Radya Pustaka museum dan Tumurun museum. The hotel is very old, provide minimum amenities., but room and hotel is very clea. However there was very strong bad odour on the corridor along the way to our room. Upon notify the staff about this, they took action straight away and tried to get rid of the smell. Well done to very responsive and cooperative team. I also like the breakfast spread provided. Lots of local food like soto ayam, bubur ayam, kari ayam dsn bubur ketan hitam. What a delight to start the day with delicious breakfast. Definitely will stay here again if I visit Solo.

GGuest UserI was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. They gave me a room at the back of the building away from the traffic.
They gave me room is bright, clean and cared for. A desk in the corner with a comfortable chair helps with any admin.
Tea and coffee and water are available and a refill machine off free hot and cold water is on each landing.
A buffet breakfast for 60k is available each morning and restaurant meals in the evening. I didn’t try as I had an early start and don’t eat after 5pm.
Conveniently close to the railway station a few minutes walk away and easy walking, for a regularly fit person, to the sites of interest and many cafe, coffee and restaurants.
I would stay again for sure.

GGuest UserThe hotel was in a good location and the staff were friendly and polite, but unfortunately the room(s) which were shown were not great. The layout of the rooms was fairly standard with semicomfy beds and a nice bathroom, even if a little dated. However the first room we saw had stains on the bedsheets and was full of dust, then we moved to another room which had nicer (not stained) bedsheets but the pillowcases were yellow and smelled a little funny. The hotel also had a bug problem with ants in the bedroom and a huge amount of mosquitos which congregated around the water dispensers in the corridors and snuck into the room when you opened the door. We also had a gecko one night in the bathroom and saw a mouse on the third floor. The floor was also seemingly uncleaned and there was a lot of dirt/dust, cobwebs in the bathroom, and general dirt around the corners of the room. Also there was centrally controlled music in the corridor which started at 6am and the doors made a non-stop beeping sound when left open which was seemingly often as we heard it a lot, meaning that we woke up early.
The stay was passable at the hotel and the price was good but unfortunately we were never comfy in the room given that it could have used a thorough clean.

YYasintaSblm check in udh req king bed. Tp gbs krn udh penuh dan hbs, mrk nawarin buat jadiin 1 twin bed nya, udh di ok in. Pas mlm check in masuk kamar blm disatuin. Airnya agak bau, sofanya ada yg bolong & bekas ketumpahan sesuatu gitu, breakfastnya bubur agak basi, rotinya kering, nasi b aja, staffnyaramah bangeeeet 👍🏻. Airnya kecil jg, pas mandi siang udh ngga panas lagi jg gatau knp. Tapi yaa masih okelah buat stay disitu, kemana2 deket. Pas di lorongnya atapnya bolong2
