Upon check-in, we received a complimentary personalized welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The service overall was excellent, the room was spacious and quite clean. As it's a Marriott property, I was able to earn Marriott points, making for a very satisfying stay. The burger on the hotel's menu was also delicious. Overall, a great experience!

Honest review.. stay with the expectation of a 5-star hotel, but the experience is not comparable to the price. The lobby and check-in process are quite good, the welcome drink is refreshing, and the concierge helpfully carried the luggage. Basement parking is also relatively easy. Unfortunately, many important details reduce comfort. The door of the room does not have a stopper so it is often slammed loud and noisy. Soundproofing was not good, the sound from the next room was still heard. The room size is relatively small for the standard 5-star, and there is no minibar at all, even a paid one. For mineral water, use plastic bottles, not the premium ones with glass bottles. The lighting system was confusing and the bathroom lighting was too dim. There are 4 elevators but it is very slow.. there is often a buildup of guests. The pool area is also less well-organized such as having no concept and not weather-friendly because there is no shaded area. It's ridiculous, having to pay an extra 200rb for access to the whirlpool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was a disappointment: the menu options were less varied, the taste was standard, and the service was less warm (officers lacked smiles). Overall, I wouldn't really mind these things if the room price wasn't this muc, but with a rate above Rp 2 million per night, this experience is less worth it. Compared to 5-star hotels in Jogja and its surroundings, it is still quite far behind.

Good place to stay with affordable and reasonable price. This is my view when I’m visiting 3days4 night for my business trip. Services is perfect. But the door seems hard to open. Probably need to improve that. Overall best value.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. They gave me a room at the back of the building away from the traffic. They gave me room is bright, clean and cared for. A desk in the corner with a comfortable chair helps with any admin. Tea and coffee and water are available and a refill machine off free hot and cold water is on each landing. A buffet breakfast for 60k is available each morning and restaurant meals in the evening. I didn’t try as I had an early start and don’t eat after 5pm. Conveniently close to the railway station a few minutes walk away and easy walking, for a regularly fit person, to the sites of interest and many cafe, coffee and restaurants. I would stay again for sure.

Perfectly located hotel in the central of Solo attractions with very affordable price. Very close to Batik museum, Sriwedari Park, Radya Pustaka museum dan Tumurun museum. The hotel is very old, provide minimum amenities., but room and hotel is very clea. However there was very strong bad odour on the corridor along the way to our room. Upon notify the staff about this, they took action straight away and tried to get rid of the smell. Well done to very responsive and cooperative team. I also like the breakfast spread provided. Lots of local food like soto ayam, bubur ayam, kari ayam dsn bubur ketan hitam. What a delight to start the day with delicious breakfast. Definitely will stay here again if I visit Solo.

We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Hotel Solo. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices, so there was something for everyone. We especially loved the kids’ food corner, which offered fun options like donuts, sandwiches, and pizza. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Their hospitality really made us feel at home. The swimming pool is another highlight, as it’s open until 8:00 PM, giving families plenty of time to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, Mercure Hotel Solo is an excellent choice for families. Great food, clean rooms, outstanding service, and family-friendly facilities made our stay very enjoyable. We would happily stay here again!

I choosed this hotel because was manage by dafam and that day all the hotel sorrounding that area has been fully booked and need to stay near that area coz my hubby has meeting in this area. A bit shocked while arrived at the hotel. For me its like a boarding house but again I can't except too much regards the room rate it's cheap.. the room it's ok, clean, the AC working good, not too small, but the pillows and especialy the bed sheet actually in my opinion, it is no longer suitable for use. A lot of stains on the bed sheet, maybe the laundry didn't wash it properly as I saw the sent out for washing.. Location of the hotel is near by with the Solo Oaragon Mall. Have coffee shop in the hotel with the nice taste coz we ordered coffee with brown sugar (forgot the name).. Sorry I didn't take any picture..

The hotel was in a good location and the staff were friendly and polite, but unfortunately the room(s) which were shown were not great. The layout of the rooms was fairly standard with semicomfy beds and a nice bathroom, even if a little dated. However the first room we saw had stains on the bedsheets and was full of dust, then we moved to another room which had nicer (not stained) bedsheets but the pillowcases were yellow and smelled a little funny. The hotel also had a bug problem with ants in the bedroom and a huge amount of mosquitos which congregated around the water dispensers in the corridors and snuck into the room when you opened the door. We also had a gecko one night in the bathroom and saw a mouse on the third floor. The floor was also seemingly uncleaned and there was a lot of dirt/dust, cobwebs in the bathroom, and general dirt around the corners of the room. Also there was centrally controlled music in the corridor which started at 6am and the doors made a non-stop beeping sound when left open which was seemingly often as we heard it a lot, meaning that we woke up early. The stay was passable at the hotel and the price was good but unfortunately we were never comfy in the room given that it could have used a thorough clean.
