The Amalfi Coast can be very overwhelming and crowded, and I highly recommend booking Giuseppe's transfer. We tried it before with public transport and two large suitcases, and it was a nightmare—not recommended. It's best to rent a scooter from Ravello. Of all the views on the Amalfi Coast, we had the best view from our accommodation! We had a fantastic time up there.

The service staff was exceptional and extremely friendly and polite while accomodating to our every request such as directing our driver to the correct location and providing portering service everywhere. The food such as the breakfast was made to order and all tasted very fresh premium using locally sourced ingredients. Overall our experience was nothing short of spectacular and would recommend anyone who is looking for a luxurious old antique feel to consider this hotel .

The room also has a sea view, and breakfast was enjoyed with an unparalleled ocean view. Walking up to Ravello, you'll find numerous scenic church squares and pedestrianized restaurant streets. The famous Villa Simbroney, built in the 11th century, is located on the hilltop. When planning my trip to the Amalfi Coast, I considered booking in Amalfi Town or Positano, but since I was driving, there were almost no hotels with their own parking in those towns. Therefore, I ultimately chose Villa Giovanna in Ravello. Its high elevation, quiet location, and stunning scenery make it convenient for driving to and from the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, and Naples.
